No games next weekend.
With all the rain - we have very little practice and no games.

I hope this doesn't turn in to a repeat of the Fall Season! Can't we just put turf down on all of the fields!?!

Probably will be a repeat, as this is an El Nino year. The National Weather Service thinks its a pretty good bet for above normal precip.

Requested a WC-130 fly over Texas yesterday ... looks like we won't have any games until May. Sorry.

I am getting so tired of this weather. My kid is ready to play!! Indoor has its moments but we are ready for what makes Texas great! Hot weather and games that actually play.

Re: Lewisville fields closed for the weekend

LonDrew Today at 11:28 amSomeone just posted on another thread that GLASA has already closed their fields for this coming weekend. This includes Chinn Chapel, Gerault, Railroad and Lake Park. The email came from the GLASA General Manager. I believe the posting is in the 99G section.

NO SURPRISE! Wonder if the PPL Fall make-up games will happen?

Not real encouraging is it? Maybe we can hope for the additional rain on Saturday night...that's my best solution.

I vote we just do this whole year as a "re-do" and start over in August! Next year is bound to be better!!
