I have to say that FC Dallas South has been the sleeper team from last season. They have had a great start for the Spring season moving from the bottom half of the table to the top half with some impressive wins.
2/20/2010
9:00 AM FC DALLAS SOUTH 98 4 XCELEX 98 1
2/27/2010
9:00 AM FW FC RED 98 1 FC DALLAS SOUTH 98 4
2/28/2010
9:30 AM TX SPIRIT 98 (TX SPIRIT RED) 0 FC DALLAS SOUTH 98 2
3/6/2010
10:30 AM LIVERPOOL 98 0 FC DALLAS SOUTH 98 1
3/7/2010
8:00 AM DFW TORNADOS WHITE 98 1 FC DALLAS SOUTH 98 1

What I said about them at the end of Fall Season.
7. FC Dallas South - Good team with some great athletes. Team just has not been able to get the ball to bounce their way this season. They added some good players and I expect them to finish higher.

I guess the ball has started to bounce there way and they sit tied in points with Rev at 22 pts for 4th place.

Well, Dionne Warwick and her psychic friends would be impressed with my prediction. cheers

I have been very impressed with FCDS playing against them in the past. They have always given TFC a hard game and walked away on top many times. It was a surprise to see them at 7th last season.

lol....

Yes they impressed me very much when they played us a few weeks ago to the tune of 4-1... They have a good mix of skill/touch, and know how to get physical without being to obvious about it... Look for them to be a contender for that number one spot next year...

And I will quote myself on that one this time next year....

Props to Sting West, as well. They've really stepped it up in the second half of the season.

I also agree that FC south will continue to improve. They signed 5 talented new players last summer and it has taken them a little while to get in a groove. I think that the upward momentum we are seeing is that comfort with each other that they needed to achieve.

FCDS run of late had not impressed me much until they tied Tornadoes last wk. They they had been playing the bottom of the table team's until Tornadoes. That tie prove to me that they are on on a roll. Interesting game this wk against Revolution. Wonder what the plan will be if the two clubs merge? Pick and choose top players from Rev and FCDS to make one solid team? and call it FCDS Elite lol ( sorry liverpool that was to hard to pass up lol ) Interesting couple wk coming up.

If FC Dallas White gets relegated after the season there could very well be 3 fc d teams in d-2 if the merger goes through...
Plenty of talent to choose from there...
You say interesting couple of weeks... I say interesting summer....

They played Tornados tough but Revolution, Sting West and Royal gave the Tornados a better game. FC dallas goal was on a huge communication breakdown on a pass back to goalie from defender. FcDallas has improved and a win or draw against Revolution, TFC and Sting Royal. Than I am a believer. But not based on the Tornados game.

Those teams merge players they will be awesome and a shoe in for the d2 title.
