Hearing = yes
forced resignation = no, can coach, deciding he does not want to for NOW.

Beyond that I don't know and the team is moving on with new coach. Who is very dedicated to the team.

You have got to be kidding!! You know everyone else's business, parade up and down sidelines, and now you don't know? Doesn't this make Ed the 3rd coach already for this team? He's committed to keeping the money in this 2nd rate club, and that's it.

If you want to get technical.
I started the team Texas Shooters and coached them for 1 1/2 to 2 years.
I handed over the team to Reagan Angell who coached them in Academy for 1 season.
Austin came to TFC and the team went to Austin as was planned when he came into the club.
Austin has had this team since Academy up till Feb 3rd when he resigned.

Man, this is sooo confusing......

I have been trying to connect the dots FC Dallas, Rev merger then NTx hearing, AW loves to coach but doesn't know how (or may be knows how but doesn't love it any more), AW resigned (or kicked out, depends on who says what), not the full story or may be not the story at all, TFC's 1st, 2nd, 3rd coach (who is counting!!!) ....yada yada yada..

And now Metro comes up with more technical stuff

Ok, I give up........

I don't care about the situation with your team. And you have never hurt my feelings about anything. I have just sat back and watched your mouth run and run for a long time. If you go back and read all of your posts over the years you would see that if anyone needs to grow up it would be you.

Sleep

Yet you feel compelled to speak up now, Strange. affraid

May I be the first to invite you to go back to your hole and sit back and watch again.

Thanks

Your right.
I have done such a good job not getting into this BS over the last 3 years. I guess a person can only go so long befrore they feel they have to speak up.
I have lowered to your level and am very dissapointed in myself. I will go back to my hole. Enjoy your life being revolved around little kids soccer. I look forward to your never ending threads trying to get anyone to play your forum games.
I'm sure my banter has given you something to look forward too at least for today. (Tomorrow your on your own)
Thank you, and good day

Were you coming on here expecting for some earth-shattering decisions regarding 12 year old soccer to be meted out? Forum games is 90% of what goes on here, and MOST everyone realizes that. This is little more than "As the World Turns" for soccer parents who don't have a TV at work. It's all fun, games, and gossip, until someone starts to make it personal...and I think you may be starting to realize that about now.
Bottom line is that Metro's a pretty cool dude who stalks the sidelines, yells at his daughter, and cusses to himself about her coach at times...just like the rest of us. If you took the original post of this thread as being more than an attempt to roust up some discussions as a prelude to getting things going for the Spring season, then you sir may very well be too thin skinned to play in this sandbox very often.
We are all of a similar mindset here. We all enjoy the times that our daughters have in select soccer. We enjoy making friends through our teams, and through others. We are all unanimous in our feelings against anything consisting of the color GREEN.

trmntr1 - same coach, same fields? Why the need for a merger? Fcd needs to sell more uni's? or does the coach need a raise? It does bother me when we see an independant club merge w/ a large club, keep the same setup and triple their fees. These small clubs start with good intentions and then are absorbed by the borg.

I do love how this topic went from FC and Rev merger to AW resignation. That's the best news I've heard in a long time. Have you heard the dancing in the streets It's cause AW resigned. Current parents were dancing more than anyone. Hopefully, the man will never coach youth soccer again and brainwash the kids and parents as he has in the past. It took a frickin hearing for Ed to finally take over the team after being told for years what a jerk AW was and after having lost more than half of his original team. TFC is a great club but was not represented well by AW. What a lunatic. My congratulations go out to the TFC '98 girls.

Reasons for the merger where never discussed with us (parents), so I really don't have any inkling as to why.... My guess would be that Rev. is probably tired of losing their better players to big clubs... If you can't beat 'em join 'em type thing.... All talks of the merger have gone by the wayside for now... Anybody's guess is as good as mine at this point...

Over the past two summers bb's team has lost several top players to FCD, and Solar... very frustrating to see them leave.... This past summer Rev98 girls lost their most dominant player and a top tier goalie to a bigger club.... And I'm sure the other teams on the club have had some of the same happen to them....

It is inevitable, before to long all we will have to choose from are going to be 3 clubs.....

You must be one of the parents that AW no longer desired to deal with somewhere along the way.
While I don't know everything (would never profess to knowing everything), I do have a pretty good insight into what has taken place over the past several months (since the Austin Labor Day tournament) having been directly involved. There aren't many current TFC 98G parents that are "dancing" and it is questionable if Ed will be able to hold the team together or not (time will tell). What you think you "know" or what you might have "heard", even if from a current parent on the TFC 98G team, just might not be what it appears to be on the surface. Everything will work it's way out in the end and we will all do what we believe is best for our dd's (and I hope that your dd has found a place where she is happy and developing).

007...really, I would hope you would be classier then that.

Nothing has turned on me... it is not about me.. it is about a team of 12 year old girls that were very sad to lose there coach.

I have always respected your coach and never said anything bad about him , you, or your dd.

I have repeated some rumors and tried to get some people talking by posting a list of crazy rumors while stating that they were rumors(fact or fiction). Did I single out just your team(NO)or are you upset at me because there might be some truth to what I posted????(I doubt it) Just take it for what it was trying to get people to start posting and they did. No harm intended, this is all supposed to be taken lightly. It is about the kids and we as parents are on here why? Many different reasons I imagine, some to support there dd's coach, team, club. Others to defend there dd's coach, team, club. And yet others to try and bring down a certain coach, team, club. I would hope that most would not encourage the later, but we do like watching bad news not good news.

Best of luck to you and your team in Phoenix this weekend.
