Sure is quiet..........Dude you there, how bout Bexter? We didn't get much game analysis from any of the games this past weekend. Not from anyone. Guess there were no surprises. Everyone beat the teams they were supposed to, right??????

If you're trying to call out the Stangs then I'll bite. Solar Blue Bones is and has always been a very good team back through the Sting West Murin days. The Mustangs have played them 3 or 4 times over the past few years and I think Sting West Murin had the slight advantage in those matchups. They were all close, tough games. No surprise last week for us to lose 2-0 to them. They did beat Sting Royal to start the season. Bones has a complete team for sure. Both sides had chances but Bones managed to convert on a LOOONNNGGGG free kick with an amazing shot from an amazing dd with an amazing leg. The other goal was off a corner where we're still not sure what happened. Granted we wish we would have played better and won the game but full credit has to go to Bones for another win. If we want to finish off this season well then we need to start scoring goals again. We play much better when we get a goal early as I'm sure most teams do. Anyway, it was no rump shaker in my opinion. On any given day we can win or lose against any team with talent that comes out and plays solid soccer. We'll have our days and upset some teams. We already have.

Geno...with all due respect, I don't think there was any insinuation of the Mustangs being rump shaked by anyone. While the analysis of the game appears spot on, Bones was ahead in the standings and the Saturday morning line put out by the great Bexster had Bones as the slight .5 goal favorite. Clearly, that game would not even sniff the rump shaker category. Just quiet on the Dallas Dude front this week, likely a direct result from his getting home late on Saturday. Hope he's not in anyone's doghouse, specifically Ms. Dude!!!

My point was that there is usually some discussion on this board after the weekend of games. There has been nothing, so there must have been nothing to discuss.

Sorry. That's what I get for taking a break from work at 12:10AM. The mind is not clear at that time of night when you've been up since 5AM so I quit working and tried to do something a little more fun. LOL Open mouth, insert foot. Y'all are right. I did not interpret the post correctly in the first place. At least I can laugh at myself. Hey...Go Mustangs!!!! LOL

Wow the story line sounds like Bones was lucky to score. Typical parent who does not give credit for a team winning. Yes the other team scored, but they were lucky.......Thanks Geno for the insight. Just like my wife telling me she appreciates me mowing the yard, but I did not cut all the grass

This is a game, you score more than the other team you win.....you can control a game for 59 minutes the other team scores on a corner kick and win...sucks for you. As a parent you have to make a choice when you watch a game winning no matter what or actually wacthing the game to see if your coach is coaching and your kid is developing.

I am willing to pay money for someone to vidoe tape the game between Sting and Sting Royal.....not the field but the parents and coaches, this will show the true side of youth soccer.

LS, there was more to Geno's story than what you picked out and highlighted in red. I did not take his post in any way as an excuse maker. I suppose it just depends on what you are looking for when reading a post. His post was far, very far, from the usual suspect post of "we shoulda won but..."
But I am with you on the wanting to watch the Sting/Sting Royal game.

LS, I just take it for what it is. A loss to a good team. No excuses no lucky goals. DOTS, thanks for coming to my defense there.

Do we have some RS candidates this week?

Genesis 1 DT North 1

Maybe Liverpool Red 2 solar white 1?

Definitely the Genesis vs DT North. What was it going in to today? 19 point differnce and 10th vs 20th. I think it's a no brainer that is a Rump Shaker.

Liverpool Red vs Solar White was 7th vs 10th so technically yes but not that much of a upset in my opinion.

With Genesis vs DT North ending in a tie. Wouldn't that be more of a Rump vibration than a shaker?

I don't know if you should say 'vibration' in regards to the RS award....that might send it in a whole new direction....LOL Dude is distracted with work and watching selected LHGCL games since we have the weekend off but he'll be back soon I'm sure. Dude, right? Bring it Bro. Smile
