I just heard about DSC a few days ago. It used to be one of the Dr. Pepper Stars Center ice rinks and is actually in Richardson. Wow, it's nice from what I'm seeing on the website. Someone spared no expense in the conversion. I especially like that futsal would be played on actual turf instead of a hard gym floor. Here's a bit of information from the "About Us" webpage:
Dallas Soccer Center is the new state of the art futsal facility in North Dallas. With the growing popularity of Futsal, DSC offers local players a facility like no other in the metroplex. We are bringing locally what most successful soccer clubs around the world use to develop talent: Fustal and small-sided games
Futsal is the only approved form of small-sided soccer by FIFA, soccer's governing body. DSC has combined the traditional futsal experience with an indoor turf environment to create an exciting new way to enjoy the game.
We will be offering leagues for all ages:
• 7v7 adult and youth leagues
• 5v5 futsal leagues
• 3v3/4v4 youth leagues ages 3-7
Our facility includes three 5v5 futsal fields, which can be converted into one 7v7 for 8-a-side field. We also offer a footvolley/soccer-tennis court for players that want to take part of this new experience

I need to update our plans. A subgroup has decided to play futsal as well. Is anyone thinking of trying Dallas Soccer Center? They will probably go to IAD if DSC doesn't' catch on.

Texans 02 Red will have two teams at IAD.
I believe the Texans 01 White will have a couple as well.

Futsal is supposed to be on a fast surface like hardwood, not turf...
