It really isn't that big of a deal where anyone stands/sits...the only time it becomes an issue is when the "moving parent" is loud and vocal behind the other team's parents. That can create some tense moments that are better off avoided if parents would just use some common sense when it comes to supporting their kids.

1st time parents from u11 to about u14 over-react and knee jerk from game to game, and parents w/1 kid are capable of all kinds of distorted perspectives. I think if they had a buddy system for the parents of younger players who would team up with a U18 parent it would be a wonderful thing.

That is why I put (LOL). I always sit at the edge of the 18 away from everyone. Then if anyone comes down there no matter what team their DD plays for I usually talk to them. You can ask 007, that is actually how we met. As far as Tall Texxan, you can't believe anything he says because he is like a politician always trying to make peace and be happy, aka "The Senator Tall Texxan" Rep for 98 Girls Soccer.
Just Kidding TTexxan is a great person and I we have known each other for a long time. LOL

I already have one mortal enemy on this board....definitely don't need another! My political skills didn't work so well in the Academy Forum.

Its all in good fun. You know that we are definately not enemy's. (LOL) Sometimes you gotta have some fun on here so people don't take everything so serious. So everyone knows, Tall Texxan and I are just having fun. So don't vote him out of office. LOL. As for academy, they must not know you good enough yet.

Yep TexMo I'm a traveler! I find it works better for me. I try to stay clear of most parents. I figure it's better then parking my big mouth in the middle of the field !!! ...and I like making new friends.

007, I was referring to where I stay. We have had some good conversations during our games. Unfortunately, my DD's team has always been on the wrong end of the score when we played. LOL

I just think it's funny how everyone who is a wondering parent justifies that it's okay, similar to those who yell at referees. Anything can be justified to oneself.

I just think it's being selfish, but I'd never ask anyone to move - I have stood next to someone screaming like a banshee at their forward/child, this really did work (as long as they are surrounded).

I notice parents tend to not do this at Richland and Craig Ranch stadiums - hmmm....assigned seating...that's an idea.

yell at the refs at a game that isn't even their child's and then preceeds to get into a fight with the parents of the team that they just happen to be standing next to.... happened at my son's game this weekend. Very strange.
