Top 03 Keepers

Post by Ladiesman217 on 05/08/13, 07:05 pm

After seeing some of the top Keepers play in Lake Highlands, I was inpressed with some of the talent out there. Who were some of the teams with the amazing keepers you have ran across? There were some who were cheerleaders in a good way with amazing agility as well as strong legs that caught some teams by surprise.

Holy cow... Your dd rocked and completely stole the QT show. She is the ONLY reason your team made LH

No Herradura, your supposed to name his DD's team! You're not playing right.

The goalie that played for Sting Central against Spirit on the first Saturday of the tournament looked really good. Didn't see her Sunday though. Too bad. Her skill level appeared to be advanced for an '03. I would like to have seen her play more.

Ladiesman 217, Some of us must apologize for ignorant people such as hurradura who are stuck at wal-mart with nothing better to do then to smack talk. I have seen that goalie from sting central as well and I was impressed! I need to know what some of these parents are feeding these kids so I can give it to my DD!

I also like Andrameda's Keeper as well. Very tall, quick, and has a hammer foot!

Yawn... I like talking about overly aggressive forwards much better. The gk conversation is too subjective, and the gk parents are much too looney.

Don't you realize that being a bit "off" is a requirement to be a keeper? Wouldn't it stand to reason that their parents would be no different? Shocked

Hurradura I'll give it a poke. What should/can a GK do to protect themselves when charging a ball? Any tips to keep a good man from taking you out?

A good forward watches the keeper. If the keeper commits, the forward goes around, if the keeper does not commit, the forward strikes the ball to the open side of the goal. Skill is required. Not brawn...

Sorry, answered from the wrong side- which is all I know. I am very happy not to have a gk dd in this day and age...

I think the keeper for sting Gutierrez (former sting central) is one of the top keepers.

I had heard that one of the Andro teams had the goalie for QT only, and she was going to leave the team right after. Hope that it was not that one.

I wonder if that is the same case for the goalie for Sting Central that played against Spirit on the first Saturday of the tournament.
