For those that are interested I will track the predictions week to week and drop 19 of your scores at the end.  Dropping scores would allow for new prognosticators to join the fun as late as week 3 and not suffer a penalty as well as allows those who don't like openly predicting their DDs games to not submit those predictions the entire season if they so choose.

Here is what it looks like prior to the start of the SR-Warriors game.  Herradura is out to a nice lead.

Are these predictions going to include D3? The older age groups include all divisions.

I don't mind tracking the data and sharing the results. I will display the weekly results as D1, D3 and D1+D3 for bragging rights within a division and across the age group for those daring enough to try and predict all the LHGCL '03 games.

Go ahead and mark Solar Red down for 14-0, So much for the demise with out the stars and AS not letting them run up the score.

That wasn't very nice of AS... the soccer gods shouldn't turn a blind eye to those types of transgressions. Week #2 shapes up for a better match-up seeing as though FCD didn't take to kindly of only 1 prognosticator picking them to win this week and put it on the southsiders.

Good to see the place kicker made both extra points. I know they were a little concerned with that position going into the season...

It doesn't reflect poorly on AS. Grow a set and man up!

It has always been a digital gas pedal with SRSA - on or off. No middle, and they prefer ON. They don't let up against anyone.

You'd better tighten your diaper when your DD goes against SRSA...

No hard feelings from us on the score. it was a great learning expereince and our team will better becasue of that game. We knew it would a long day. We tried out best to play them straight up. We did not pack the box, play an extra defender or any other coaching trick. They are very good, have good ball skills, can shoot from anywhere and very fast. Most of you already know that.

Thanks for the warm welcomes. Good luck to all the rest of the season.

DM used to shut it down after 10 and at least make an effort to

It is impressive how they can do this without the 2 superstars

The 20 team super group has been around since 2009.  Here are the scores from the 1v20 matchups in week 1 for the last 5 years.

2009:  7-1
2010:  7-0
2011:  7-0
2012:  7-1
2013:  14-0....why?  Because you can doesn't mean you should.

So would you rather have them play keep away for the entire game? - I feel that is more demeaning than running up the score. At least when they score, it is like pressing "reset" and your team gets to see how a ball should be struck...I say let the tiger loose!!

i totally agree, give me a real game. win or lose. The warriors wanted to be in d1 and you take the good and the bad. I applaud them that they played and took the loss without ill will or excuses, good for them, we will see who else shows that class as the season wears on....

ATTENTION PARENTS OF AN 03 D1 LHGCL TEAM -

We interrupt this useless thread to bring some shocking news to teams who have not played SRSA before:

SRSA WILL BEAT YOU VERY BADLY.  BE READY FOR AN A$$ WHOOPING LIKE YOUR TEAM HAS NEVER HAD BEFORE.

DO NOT EXPECT SRSA TO LET OFF THE GAS PEDAL.  THEY WILL PLAY THEIR GAME FROM START TO FINISH.

DO NOT WHINE WHEN THE TEAM YOUR DD IS ON GETS BEAT BY MORE THAN 10.

IT IS ACTUALLY GOOD TO LET YOUR DD GET PUMMELED BY A TALENTED TEAM - THEY WILL SEE HOW FAR THEY HAVE TO GO.

Thank you.  You can resume your useless whining about getting a score run up on you.
