I only see one upset. The rest played out as, or as close to, as expected.

Andro over Feet is considered an upset too.

Although I still stick to what I said awhile ago---after the top 4, games can go either way on any given week between 5-20 or 30.

People, there is only 1 (one, uno, une, ein) true upset that is possible - and that is if SRSA gets beat.

Save the two teams that settle into the bottom slots by mid-season, any one of these games can go either way.

"We just didn't play like we usually do."  Yeah, because the other team didn't let you play your game.  How could that happen?  Because you are pretty evenly matched, knucklehead.  A girl that is as good as your star midfielder (GASP!) took it to her.  Or the striker that usually can weave down the field was stopped by a defender that is actually pretty good...

The big clubs don't have a massive advantage over each other or over the independents right now because the talent is pretty well distributed.

Andro over Feet doesn't seem much of an upset to me. Both teams looked very similar in QT.

But I would agree that anything after the Top Four (SRSA, LP, DTS, FCD Gold) is a toss up on any given Saturday.

outonthelimb wrote:DTS (1) vs Sting West (0)  -  West plays to the level of their competition more than any team I've ever seen.  This should be close and I wouldn't be surprised if it ended in a tie

FCD Gold (4) vs Cosmos (0) -  Everyone has a plan until they get hit in the mouth.  FCD punches early then often.

LP Elite (2) vs FWFC Black (0) -  Nickname'em the San Antonio spurs.  They aren't pretty nor exciting but they get the intended results.  Slow and steady.

FCD South Suarez (2) vs FCD Premier (0) - FCDSS is a team that can play with a chip on their shoulder and will likely be 'kickin' it into overdrive to run the 'premier' out of FCD's name.

Sting G (3) vs FCD Red (0) - The rumors of Sting G's demise were greatly exaggerated.  She only needs 12 and she has'em.

Feet (0) vs Andromeda (0) -  Andromeda can defend and Feet has trouble scoring.  I'm calling this a tie.

F ever Black (1) vs LP Barnes (0) -  This one could go either way but I've picked my one tie for the week above.  F ever has the great equalizer.

LP Rush (1) vs DT Moreno (0) -  I haven't seen much of DT Moreno so I'm going simply off LP Rush's ability to counter attack.  If DT attacks early then that plays into LP's hand.

Sting Hilton (2) vs LP Keegan (0) -  The last time these two teams met Sting won going away.  Both teams have improved since that meeting.

SRSA (6) vs Warriors (0) -  AS / DM won't pile on the points against a team called 'Warriors'.  There is nothing to be gained there.
Any prediction changes after SRSA roster changes today?  Probably not this week against the Warriors, but what about the rest of the season?  Can the rest of the SRSA group dominate without their star players?
Can you change rosters after QT? I guess you can but doesn't that sound a little shady?

Yes you can adjust rosters. If you are released from your team, you can sign with another team. It takes lots of signatures (release form from competitive team, NTSA transfer form) plus a processing fee, and then it has to be approved by the league.

Nothing shady about it. If there is a better fit with another team, then why make your DD suffer through a season where she doesn't want to be?

As for bulk changes, I don't know how the league looks at those.

LP Barnes (1) F ever (3) - That should end the Barnes smack talk for a while...

LP Rush (0) DT (1)

SRSA vs Warriors at 2pm - we already know how this will turn out...
Smack Talk?  Wow!!!  It was a good game.  We had more shots on goal, they made theirs (that's the difference).  We played a good 1st half and they played a great 2nd half.  (Not to mention we were down two players, one unexpected.)  great job Beiber Beiber Fever.  With no more health problems or injury we will still be in the mix.  #wewillbeinthetopten

Maybe if your team gets disqualified for having a falsified birth certificate.   That would be a great reason in my book.

Or maybe DD spent more time on the bench than on the field.

Those are a couple reasons I can think of.

I view it as an upset since Feet was considered a top 10 team and Andro was not.
