ATTENTION PARENTS OF AN 03 D1 LHGCL TEAM -

We interrupt this useless thread to bring some shocking news to teams who have not played SRSA before:

SRSA WILL BEAT YOU VERY BADLY.  BE READY FOR AN A$$ WHOOPING LIKE YOUR TEAM HAS NEVER HAD BEFORE.

DO NOT EXPECT SRSA TO LET OFF THE GAS PEDAL.  THEY WILL PLAY THEIR GAME FROM START TO FINISH.

DO NOT WHINE WHEN THE TEAM YOUR DD IS ON GETS BEAT BY MORE THAN 10.

IT IS ACTUALLY GOOD TO LET YOUR DD GET PUMMELED BY A TALENTED TEAM - THEY WILL SEE HOW FAR THEY HAVE TO GO.

Thank you.  You can resume your useless whining about getting a score run up on you.

So is SRSA playing with their 2 star forwards? If they are then I can see them winning all of their games 8 - 0 or more. But those 2 account for 90% of the goals. If they are not playing I could see teams in the top 5 keeping it close / closer.. or at least scoring a few on them.

If you think that way, you have no clue what you are up against... Good luck with your reality check when your teams time comes...

Soccerpop, it's far more demeaning to play keepaway for a half hour with 250 consecutive passes than it is to just keep playing and run up 14 goals. It actually helps teams to learn the game is you just play like it's 0-0 the whole game.

I find that the kids handle it fine and forget it as soon as you get in the car. It's the butthurt helicopter parents that carry it home to stew over.
