Did Sting manage to get through to the semi's? I keep checking on-line but it's not updated yet.

Nevermind. It's updated now. They tied Serreno. Bummer.

No. Sting tied 0-0. They didn't make it out of bracket......

There are definitely many good clubs out west, we shall see how our FCD girls will finish. Pulp should get through without a hitch, they are up against a LV team that didn't make the semi's in their last tournament that we were in. Grubb looks like they are back on track this morning, but, their competition seems to be much stronger. Looks like it will be a great day for soccer out there as the temp will be around 80. Enjoy the day and bring back the hardware when you come!
    Good luck!

Grubb won, Pulpa lost. Grubb will play finals vs a team from Vegas (Premier).

That would have to be considered a pretty big upset especially as well as Pulp was playing. I am wondering if they don't have a few guests from their white team or others???

FCD Grubb was up 2-0 with less than 10 mins to go in the finals. No update so far, but it is safe to assume they won.
Congrats to FCD Grubb for the win, to FCD Pulp and Sting for a good showing representing NTX....

Congrats to FC Dallas - Grubb for winning the Championship and bringing the hardware back to NTX.
Congrats to FC Dallas - Pulpaneck for making it to the Semi's unlucky for them not to advance to the Final.

I heard Sting had an ordeal just trying to get there with flights and weather. Sting did have a tough bracket and represented NTX well and given different circumstance with travel and such could have been a different story for them. There is always next year.

I hope you all enjoyed the weather and being able to lounge by the pool. Welcome back to NTX where the weather changes from day to day.(cold to rainy and cold)

Just landed and glad to be home! ..many people faced adversity getting to Phoenix, weather was a mess getting out of Dallas Friday.

Phoenix was sunny and 70. Fields were great and tourney for the most part ran well.
Glad NTX was able to bring home some hardware!!! ...WISH it would have been an all FCD final. Congrats to the girls that fought hard this weekend to represent NTX.

Tournament was a challenge in many ways for all NTX teams for sure ...
The ref crews were very inconsistent but in the final game they brought in a higher caliber group from out of town... They were much better and put up with NOTHING from parents, coaches and players ...
In the game prior to the final we witnessed a coach, 2 parents and 2 players all get tossed... the sidelines got quiet in a hurry..
Then in our game the opposing coach was tossed within the first 10 mins for jawing it up ...
IMHO, that approach would help keep the sidelines in check. Although we all have disagreements with calls from time to time, it would improve the game for the players, coaches and parents ..
Again, Congrats to all NTX teams !!

Are you saying that in the game on Monday that preceeded the 98G final, all of those people got tossed? Or are you referring to the semi-final game that the 98G teams played in? "Our game" I assume referrs to the 98G final? Thanks, just wanting clarification so I understand. I assume MG is very happy with the results and CP is probably happy for a good showing but disappointed in not making the finals.

It was a boys final we were watching prior to our game. Then the '98 girls oposing coach got tossed for arguing about a call 10 min into our championship game. He deserved it he was warned many times before during and after. When they tossed him he pulled his dd off the field and walked away with the game ball. ...kinda funny he took the ball. ..lol.

Championships games were called VERY fair IMO..
