Games of interest this week:

All 8am games, seriously? I just hope it is not raining - that would start my Saturday off in a bad place. I would have to make myself some "special" coffee to get through another weather beat down...

FCD Red vs FCD Gold: FCD Red plays well to the level of their competition and have proven they can spoil a party. Gold, seemingly dominant for a while, barely squeaked one out vs. LP Rush last week. This has the potential to be a fun game to watch and could very well have an unexpected outcome.

DT03 vs Sting 03: I will put my DT disgruntled-nesss aside for about 30 seconds... DT03 is playing well, they have a very stingy, solid defense and have been putting up impressive offensive numbers the last two games. Sting 03 has found their footing without their CM (due back soon) and is playing well as a unit shutting out their last three games. This is the best match up of the week IMO

Sting Hilton vs LP Barnes: Sting Hilton seems to be a skill and finesse team that seems to have had trouble with physical play. LP Barnes is a physical, "grind you down" type team. I think this game will be closer than most expect and has a high probability of "spoilage".

Sting West vs Cosmos: Another great match up. Both teams have had a somewhat rough start to the season, but have also shown that each can produce points against the leagues best defenses. This game has the potential to be a high scoring, confidence building turning point for either team.

FWFC 0 - Solar Red 9 : Solar just wears teams down. After this week for FWFC it can only get easier, they've already played LP Elite, DTS and now Solar. Should be a much more enjoyable Spring season.

FCD Blue 0 - DTS 4: Eventually Blue is going to put it all together for a game, I just don't think it will be this weekend.

FCD Red 1 - FCD Gold 3: I like club battles, normally get the best efforts from both teams. I just think Gold has too much fire power.

Andro 0 - LP Elite 2: Andromeda's only given up 3 goals in 4 games, LP Elite only one goal in 4 games. Should be a low scoring game.

F ever 0 - FCD Pre 3: Only goals Prem has given up are to Solar, defense is playing well right now and I would imagine make it a frustrating day for F ever.

DT03 0 - Sting G 3: This has traditionally been the type of game where Sting G steps up and plays great. I always have a hard time picking against them in games like this. DT03 has been playing better but is about to start on a tough four game stretch. If they can go .500 over the next four games I'd be impressed.

LP Keegan 2 - Dfeet 1: Two teams that are fairly familiar with each other. Always seem to be close games.

Sting H 1 - LP Barnes 1: No clue which Sting H team shows up from week to week so I'll just pick a tie and move on.

LP Rush 3 - Warriors 1: The first chance the Warriors have had a chance to breath this season. They should be tested enough by now that nothing Rush throws out there will shock them. Rush should win but I'm hoping for the Warriors sake they finally get a goal. If they do I'm sure I'll hear the screams down at the Cotton Bowl.

Cosmos 3 - Sting West 2: I honestly rolled dice to come up with this score. Offensively Cosmos over the past couple of weeks have been impressive. Sting West is coming off a disappointing effort last week so I'm sure they are going to be fired up. This would probably be the game I'd want to watch.

Hopefully the rain will hold off and the games will be played. Good luck to all the teams.

Will only comment on what I know

Unfortunately FWFC will have another difficult week.
FCD Red can play well.....hope they have some mojo on their side with Gold.
DT03 has a strong defense however, they tend to under estimate the current mid strength.... This will be a great game
Lp Rush has an opportunity to here if they keep their head in the game....if not.... Keegan could steal it
I can see Cosmos steal this one.....they are hungry!!!

Do you know how badly the ARs hosed us up??? OMG!!  J/k

It probably wasn't a good idea to let the girls close down Chucky Cheese last night. We had to call a cab for a few of them. It figures that they would be hung over from all those video games, mazes and ball pits! Not to mention the poor lactose intolerant girls.  

In all seriousness, Sting played one heck of a game and deserved everything they got. Today, we were not up to task.
