Re: Fields Closed
Did the boys close their fields too?
Last weekend when the Legacy Cup cancelled the boys played there opening weekend.
Does anybody know if the fields were in good shape or did they tear em up?

Re: Fields Closed
Too bad we couldn't have played them today. After playing a little "Snow Soccer" with the kids, it seemed the snow was deep enough to insulate the fields from damage.
Some observations on "Snow Soccer."
1. Speed & skill are effectively eliminated.
2. The ball "grows", then suddenly goes back to normal.
3. Toeball dribbling is the most effective technique for advancing the ball up the field.
4. If you do feel the need to pass, chip it.
5. The save ratio goes up considerably for keepers facing PKs.

Re: Fields Closed
I'm bored. This snow can melt any time now, and while we're at it, the weather can get to around 65 degrees and sunny.
