Going into the weekend, seems there is a lot at stake. But different objectives for different teams.
Sting, with their full Spring schedule still in hand, are looking to secure GC.
Then comes the pack: Texans, Solar, Feet, and Solar Red. Texans trying to break out of the pack and challenge Sting, while the other 3 are fighting for 2 PL spots.
FC Dallas is trying to squeeze into the PL battle which will be difficult. Do-or-die this weekend.
Mustangs and Rev are battling to avoid relegation and fighting for every point.
Spirit is probably the only team hoping for rain….months of it.
FC Dallas vs Solar Red (Sat) – If FCD is going to make a move for PL, this is the time. They have to beat someone above them. Feet beat FCD last week so SR really needs the win to not lose ground in the standings (and ultimately PL race).
Texans vs Feet (Sat) – Texans probably more interested in catching Sting for GC, Feet more concerned with qualifying for PL. However, if Feet were to win, Texans and Feet would be tied in the standings and things could really get interesting. That being said, after this weekend, Texans schedule is much, much friendlier.
Sting vs Texans (Sun) – Unless something really bizarre happens, both teams are pretty much a lock for PL. However this is a "must win" for Texans in hunt for GC. A Sting win should cement GC for them.
FC Dallas vs Solar (Sun) – For both teams, this game has similar ramifications as the FCD/SR game on Sat. Solar needs the points to match or exceed the results of Feet and SR.
