Guys just to set the record straight, it was not about MG or anything else gossiped about. CP had a great opportunity as director of coaching for the club. He accepted that position and gave both his teams the opportunity to come with him or stay. Both teams (100%) choose to go because of CP's coaching style and philosophy. Both his teams are competing at the highest level (D1 & near top of academy for 00's) and moving to another club should not change that. We are excited for CP and would rather be coached by him than stay at either of the clubs we left

    E,
Congratulations for being one of the small handful of parents that truly get what this is soccer stuff is all about.

Thanks for clarifying! That's good to hear. Do you know why they put the "Elite" moniker with the Liverpool name though? Seems to me that maybe some of the other teams would be left scratching their heads? Is it because they are DI? Not trying to stir any pots (promise!) just curious why they would do that?

Because they are the top team(in D1 for the club) and he is the DOC and can name his teams whatever he likes now. :-)

Good for the Pulpanecks. That was the right move.

Metro, you're out of the loop on these things.

Actually Jugdish, all of this was out there but it was always thought that it was all about CP moving and not his teams (98s and 00s).

Apparently, all of this WASN'T out there as you are implying since, as posted above, it wasn't about just HIM moving.

And as stated earlier, I too applaud his teams for remaining with him, although it is totally unsurprising that they would 100% go with him. CP understands how to get individual and team development and team chemistry. And a lot of credit goes to the parents too. They understand individual development and team development and chemistry.

Well, no wins and 1 loss under the new Liverpool name. No worries as CP will stick by this entire group of dd that followed him despite today's 5 to 0 blowout loss; CP's chemistry, training ladder and social events will keep happy all parents and dd despite for some this is their 3rd club in less than a year. No way CP will turn to the D2 Livrpool squad for reinforcements. Keep your heads up dd and parents, it was zero zero at halftime, so just wait until May for a rematch.

Barney fife, I like your enthusiasm

Last week you posted ".....Pulp will get 12pts by weekend and be on top of D1....", then you came back with ..."it was zero zero at halftime..."

I like that, it keeps the heart beating.

Always my favorite is all games are 0-0 before the first whistle, sad that they only report the final results after the final whistle ......

He's done a much better job of retaining and developing his girls than MG has done.

I was wondering about that. It doesn't make a whole lot of sense to move otherwise, right? Liverpool doesn't have nearly the trainings facility or the skins that FCD has....IF that's the case, congratulations to Pulp for building (and keeping) his team.

Im curious why he chose Liverpool? Why not Texans, Sting, Solar, Tornados etc...more established clubs.

Pretty sure it had everything to do with being named club DOC.

Sure, but the lighted fields and indoor facility almost make up for it. Too bad the concorde isn't an option any longer.
