If you are talking about the Texas Shootout in Houston it appears there are 4 Sting 03 teams going to play in it? Sanchez,Gray,West & US Club?

If this is true, JD taking over for Sting G then what does that really mean? Is Sting finally consolidating to have a Super Team? If so, it's about time. What's the scoop with AG?

If true, will this Super Team, formerly Sting G now Sting JD - US Club take a couple top players from Sting H and rise in the standings next season to break the top 3? Will Sting likely slide a few also.

I don't know enough about how GotSoccer works to know if any of the following matters, but:
JD's Sting team has a completely new GotSoccer page with no game history.
AG's Sting team still has their GotSoccer listing with a full team history.

In the past, when I have seen a coach change, the team's coach just switches on GotSoccer.  FC Dallas Premier just switched to CR and the team history remained.  Possibly the difference between switching coaches midyear v end of year?

Ask yourself this simple question...

What league is associated with US Club?

Then go to the Sting Web site, look at the home page, contact JD, and put 2 + 2 together...

Plano Bound logs into forum and sees BWGophers has a response.

Plano Bound expects to see explanation of the nuances of GotSoccer from BW.

Plano Bound reads BW's response and hangs head in shame.

Plano Bound deletes his forum account.

No shame necessary. There was no advertising on the forum, and I don't normally go to the websites for clubs my DD doesn't play for...

I don't know the specifics surrounding the team, and I don't have an '03 so I have no need to try and get the specifics, but I think I have a pretty good guess as to what is going on there...

I'm too lazy to look all this up on the Sting site

Ask yourself this question
If you're a TM wanting to create a custom roster of girls within your club and some not , some with NTX releases, some not, in order to play an out of town tournament, how would you do that BWG?

I'm thinking that you would find an event that accepts US Club Soccer rosters, and register that team with US Club Soccer instead of USYSA... but that's just me...

...and most of them tend to be sponsored by clubs that participate in a high-level Regional/National league associated with US Club Soccer starting at U14, and even start hosting brackets with the suffix "Pre" at U12 and U13 in said events...

I wonder if this would allow clubs to invite U12 and U13 players to guest play in such events without the encumberment of getting NTSSA player releases Question Question Question

OK, my moment of shame has passed - I never would have figured all of that without you guys spelling it out for me.  I think that was more complicated than 2+2!

True.  The reason I asked in the first place was because I have heard there will be a lot of movement in June.  I thought whatever roster goes to Houston might be an indication of what is coming together for Sting come July 1st.

I guess you can say I was just curious! (See what I did there?)

Sting 03 Going to Houston? Empty Coach Changes?

Post by ASP293 30/05/14, 12:33 pm

Can anyone elaborate on how often they change coaches?  I may be taking my DD to tryout with Sting but am not a fan of frequent coaching changes.  I believe continuity is important.

So I read the discussion about what happened to the teams, what JD is going to put together, where AG left. But I have a major question - don't the parents of the former Sting G team have issue with all of the rumored issues concerning JD while at FCD Premier?

Or were all of those highly corroborated rumors proven to be false?

corroborated, corroborating. 1. to make more certain; confirm

NFOD were you just being funny?  How could something highly confirmed be false?  Its either one or the other right?  Question Question Question Question

From what I understand, AG is keeping her team and JD's team is a collection of players from other teams / clubs that do not need a release. Is that not accurate?

To practice no, but to guest play, I thought they did as they were still under contract? But this is for a US club roster, so its a moot point. Right?
