Re: Sting 03 Going to Houston?
If true, will this Super Team, formerly Sting G now Sting JD - US Club take a couple top players from Sting H and rise in the standings next season to break the top 3? Will Sting likely slide a few also.

I don't know enough about how GotSoccer works to know if any of the following matters, but:
JD's Sting team has a completely new GotSoccer page with no game history.
AG's Sting team still has their GotSoccer listing with a full team history.
In the past, when I have seen a coach change, the team's coach just switches on GotSoccer. FC Dallas Premier just switched to CR and the team history remained. Possibly the difference between switching coaches midyear v end of year?

Ask yourself this simple question...
What league is associated with US Club?
Then go to the Sting Web site, look at the home page, contact JD, and put 2 + 2 together...

Plano Bound expects to see explanation of the nuances of GotSoccer from BW.
Plano Bound reads BW's response and hangs head in shame.

No shame necessary. There was no advertising on the forum, and I don't normally go to the websites for clubs my DD doesn't play for...
I don't know the specifics surrounding the team, and I don't have an '03 so I have no need to try and get the specifics, but I think I have a pretty good guess as to what is going on there...

What u11 or u12 league is associated US Club?
I'm too lazy to look all this up on the Sting site

None that I am aware of, but ask yourself the question nonetheless...

Re: Sting 03 Going to Houston?
If you're a TM wanting to create a custom roster of girls within your club and some not , some with NTX releases, some not, in order to play an out of town tournament, how would you do that BWG?

I'm thinking that you would find an event that accepts US Club Soccer rosters, and register that team with US Club Soccer instead of USYSA... but that's just me...

And most of these tourneys accept the very flexible us club rosters and an extra $50 for insurance

...and most of them tend to be sponsored by clubs that participate in a high-level Regional/National league associated with US Club Soccer starting at U14, and even start hosting brackets with the suffix "Pre" at U12 and U13 in said events...
I wonder if this would allow clubs to invite U12 and U13 players to guest play in such events without the encumberment of getting NTSSA player releases

OK, my moment of shame has passed - I never would have figured all of that without you guys spelling it out for me. I think that was more complicated than 2+2!

True. The reason I asked in the first place was because I have heard there will be a lot of movement in June. I thought whatever roster goes to Houston might be an indication of what is coming together for Sting come July 1st.
I guess you can say I was just curious! (See what I did there?)

Or were all of those highly corroborated rumors proven to be false?
