Big saves and big time goals. Let’s face it, every college coach wants a player who can do one or the other. There is always a spot for you. Our camp is designed to help you score more of those big time goals or make more of those big time saves. The coaches are college coaches– so it is a great group to show your game. These college coaches also have a history them-selves of scoring those goals or making those saves in college as well. Some have even done it for their country. Now they want to share their knowledge with you– and they are coming to a field close to you!

Coaching Staff:
Christie Welsh: Assistant Coach University of Oregon. Welsh was a 4 time All-American at Penn State, her career scoring mark of 82 goals, and 52 assists and 216 points is still the best ever in the Big 10 Conference. In 2005, she scored five goals for the US Na-tional team in the Algarve Cup, including the winning goal over Germany in the finals. She was the second player selected in the WUSA draft and led the New York Power in scoring. Professionally she also led her team in scoring with the Washington Freedom and the NJ Wildcats leading both teams to the championships and getting MVP honors as well.

Cecilie Henriksen: “C-la” is currently the Assistant Coach at Northwestern State University. She was a forward for the Danish Na-tional team from U17-U23, playing against several other countries including the U.S. She also played with one of the most recog-nized female club teams in Europe and one of the top professional teams in Denmark, Fortuna Hjorring. Collegiately she was named an All-American at Embry-Riddle University.

Shanna Caldwell: Head Coach Texas A&M Corpus Christi. Caldwell has the distinction of playing in goal for not one, but two NCAA Division I programs that have won National Championships. Caldwell began her career at the University of North Carolina, she then transferred to the University of Connecticut. During her time at UConn she led the NCAA in goals-against-average, helped win a Big East title and advance to the NCAA tournament. As a goalkeeper coach, she has been at Alabama, Akron, Baylor University, and the University of Oklahoma. She has had a lot of success working with keepers with several being named all conference and another being named to the U.S. U-23 National team pool.
