Nothing like last minute, middle-of-the-week rescheduled games. 3/20 rainout game reschedules have just been posted. Looks like most everyone now has an added game over the next couple of nights.

Re: Reschedules
Crucial mid-week games to watch:
Wed 3/31: Feet v Sting.
This is essentially the battle for 4th place (assuming FCD doesn't fumble for 3rd). Winner will have an edge for 4th. Feet will likely win this one, but Sting have two more easy games to wrestle back the 4th spot from Feet if Feet won't beat DT.
If Sting wins or ties, it will be tough for Feet to contest for 4th as they will need a win vs DT and some help from SW and FCD White to win over Sting
(
fly, fly, fly far away.......)
Wed 3/31: Solar v Solar Red
Will SR put the final D2 nail on sister team? SR is very secure at 6th, and can make a push for 5th if Feet falters in the next two games, and SR wins its last two games.
Ironically, SW is the only team which can stop SR from going for 5th, and mathematically can also dislodge SR from the 6th spot.
Thur 4/1: FCD v FCD White
Will FCD ensure the path to D2 is crystal clear for sister team?
Not that FCD Wht have many options to stay in D1, but this is a must-win game for FCD-Grubb to maintain a chance to secure the 3rd position. A win by Grubb will essentially maintain an edge over Sting and Feet.
If for some reason FCD White would pull an improbable win or tie, then the battle for 3rd, 4th and 5th will be wide open for FCD, Sting and Feet going into the last games of the U-12 year.
Thur 4/1: SW v Liverpool Elite
Liverpool doesn't need this game as they have securely locked 2nd spot. SW however needs at least 1pt to secure the 8th spot and make it unreachable by Solar. If SW gets an unlikely win v Liverpool, SW will have the edge to wrestle 7th spot from SG and may be even 6th from SR.
I don't see any of that happening, but U-12 soccer is crazy and stranger things have happened
Good luck to y'all playing......

Wow! Great analysis, Pele. My daughter is in D2, but I still enjoyed the analysis.

Re: Reschedules
As the great Emily Litella used to say on Saturday Night Live..."Nevermind!"
Email just came out that LHGCL has decided to cancel all of the games rescheduled yesterday for play during this week.
Below is the email from RH:
In light of the many conflicts we have received with both Dallas Cup and Spring Classic, we have decided to cancel all the games that were rescheduled for 3/31 and 4/1.We wish you a Happy Easter and recommend that you attend the Dallas Cup games and watch some really incredible soccer.

What am I missing? What 98 girls have conflicts with the Dallas Cup? And doesn't Spring Classic start 4/2?

Re: Reschedules
Could be coaching conflicts or all the good refs are working Dallas Cup.

Next time I feel like seeing something really incredible, I think I'll ask for a behind-the-scenes look at the Chinese fire drill that is the LHGCL.

I have not seen that email from League commissioner. I do see that the game is not listed on the schedule any longer.

-I think it's a tie or a win over Feet then 2 possible wins- STING takes 3rd back! Still 3 games to play for Sting

You are absolutely right, 9 points available for Sting and that is HUGE!
