Wed 3/31: Feet v Sting.

This is essentially the battle for 4th place (assuming FCD doesn't fumble for 3rd). Winner will have an edge for 4th. Feet will likely win this one, but Sting have two more easy games to wrestle back the 4th spot from Feet if Feet won't beat DT.
If Sting wins or ties, it will be tough for Feet to contest for 4th as they will need a win vs DT and some help from SW and FCD White to win over Sting ( fly, fly, fly far away.......)

-I think it's a tie or a win over Feet then 2 possible wins- STING takes 3rd back! Still 3 games to play for Sting

You are absolutely right, 9 points available for Sting and that is HUGE!

The last three games are HUGE for Sting I would agree. BUT, for REAL! When does a team that only scores TWO goals thus far and packs the box with 9 players every week deserve a 3rd or even a 4th place. HOW many games has TATU played to win???

The last three games for Sting are huge only in the sense that there is still 9 points for grabbing, but not as impact games.

I would think that probably the Feet game is the only game which has any impact, as both teams will be playing for something other than pride. Sting games vs SW and FCD Wht only means much to STING but not the other teams, hence it will be a one horse race.

If there are ever games which Tatu would need to play to win, the last two vs SW, FCD Wht would be it. The game vs Feet, Tatu will play NOT to lose.

To think that Sting will pick 9 points out of 3 games is not really out of question, but reality points that it will not happen.
Sting will probaly get 6 or 7 points out of the remaining schedule. 7 points will still be enough to nudge Grubb out of #3 spot. If Feet beats Sting, it will limit them to only 6 points max.

I think this will be the first time ever for Grubb parents praying hard for a crucial win.....a Feet win.......v Sting.....

Feet 2-0 Sting. Great game! I don't think many people would have predicted that score, especially since it is so hard to score on Sting. Both teams had great scoring opportunities.

    Good win for Feet Cool

It really was a great game!

Fifa, I can't believe you doubted the word of Pele I told you last week Feet will win (ok, I said a 1-0 win, but it was a win still).

Great game, a bit worrisome for Feet in the first 10-mins of the game but Sting couldn't find the back of the net.

Tallmama is now looking at 6pts max instead of 9 pts to salvage for 4th spot. 4th spot is still up in the air, but now Feet and Sting have to work hard for it.......no more cake walks......

Mathematically, Grubb, Feet and Sting can all make a play for 3rd but Grubb already has a leg in, and have a winnable last game.

Grubb, Feet and Sting are the only teams playing for something right now........

The rest DT, Liverpool, SR, SG, SW, Solar and FCD Wht can win or lose their last games and still be in the same spots they are in right now......

In other words, they are playing for nothing except pride.

SR nailed Solar back to D2. Although no one scored, but a tie guarantees SW a spot in D1, and Solar a trip to D2.

A recap of U-12 year and more is in the works and will come after the end of the season...........

Now today was a great day for STING 3 pts and 0 for the other 2 NOW I'm sure glad we have one more game!
