What we got in D1
2. LP Elite - Not all that different.
3. DT South - Very different, does GA have magic left?
4. Sting G - No comment.
5. FCD Premier - Whats behind door number 3?
6. Sting H - Stuart will make his mark.
7. DT Dallas - Scoring was needed, was scoring found?
8. Cosmos - TW always surprises.
9. Fever - Scrappy to the end.
10. LP Keegan - Just by the hair of my chinny chin chin.

Come on Bumpy Pitch help us out with some insight.
Sting G super team (the best of two top 5s) is clearly the team to beat if you've done ur homework

2. LP Elite -
3. Sting G -
These 3 should separate themselves
4. Sting H
5. DT South
6. FCD Premier
Next level, 1 could move to the top 3
7. DT Dallas
8. Cosmos
9. Fever
10. LP Keegan
can one of these teams surprise us, or do they only pray for the games against each other

I think these three teams in red hold the key to how the season works itself out. For years we have been talking about the top 4, top 5, top 6 '03 teams being a cut above the rest. So I agree with Just Curious - we know we have a top 3 in D1, but can any other team separate themselves and join the pack at the top?

1. SRSA- solid pick ups from DTS.
2. Solar (Gold)- solid pick ups from DTS
3. LP Elite- weathered the storm solidified with pick ups
4. Sting USA- solidified with FCD Premier dd's
5. Sting Hilton- only got stronger with additions of Gutierrez dd's
This is where it gets tricky... My next three stayed stable and added pieces to help solidify the team. Not sure how the new additions will impact play but there is something to be said about stability.
6. Dallas Texans
7. Cosmos
8. Fever
Next two lost so many players that it may take half a season & lots of tournaments to gel.
9. DTS
10. FCD Premier

"Superteam" is a term of the past and "ECNL" will replace the hype term by this time next year.

WOW!!! You are right on!!!Barca wrote:I still think DTS lost too much. Solid showing at Puma included three 02 studs GA is using on his 99 squad. I need to see the real team before I change my position on them.

"Outclassed" was also used in another thread.herradura wrote:"Superteam" is a term of the past and "ECNL" will replace the hype term by this time next year.
Have to agree that the separation between the teams is less with D1 additions. I too do not foresee any blowouts in the vain of SRSA. Always respected Solar "Gold" but never feared them. Don't think that the DTS additions will move the "Gold" pendulum far. SRSA's additions on the other hand should solidify there national presence.

1. LP Elite
2. Solar
3. FCD Premier
4. DTS
5. Sting G
6. DT Dallas
7. Sting H
8. Fever
9. Cosmos
10. LP Keegan
FCD Premier picked up game changers DOC coaching them should make a difference
DTS will be top 5 regardless.
Sting G picked up some decent players but no game changers
DT struggled to pick up players.
Sting H benefits from Sting G drop downs

Re: What we got in D1
2. Elite (solid pickup from Keegan)
3. Sting G (premier players plus Suarez speed)
4. Premier (solid additions)
5. Sting H (solid forward from G)
6. Cosmos (solid pickup from Keegan)
7. Keegan (have more than others think, now hopefully they found a solid keeper)
8. Fever (just solid...)
Bottom 2 depends on which team can score. DTS lost too many productive players 10 players 8 of which were starters and DT struggled to score without their scorer.

Re: What we got in D1
Honestly at this point who knows what to expect outside of maybe the top two or three teams.
Solar Gold, LP Elite, and Sting USA (based upon what we know they had and have picked up) would be the best bets to win. Last year, head to head, there was no clear cut winner. Each team won 1 and lost 1. Each team seems to have improved their roster from what I've heard.
The question marks are obviously FCD Premier, LP Keegan, and DTS. No one has seen any of them play yet so no use in predicting anything about these three.
Of the remaining four that didn't go through major roster upheaval I'd probably go Sting H, Cosmos, Fever, and then DT but it's impossible to know how they will compare with the trio of FCDP, LP Keegan, or DTS.
I'm curious to see who ends up playing in the PLD this year. Might be worth getting melted in the lovely August heat to watch some of these teams.

Re: What we got in D1
lol!!! I don't like their new offenses.... DT may have more than DTS though... Plus DTS lost 80% of that back wall. If they both are able to score then they could be 7th and 8th... I remember DTS struggled with Cosmos. Now with the loses and key addition for Cosmos it may not be a tie. The other ties were Fever, Elite, and Premier. Those won't be ties.herradura wrote:Cesar...... no like...... Texans.....

Re: What we got in D1
lol!!! DTS lost 3 defenders and a keeper.... A forward, both CM... Come on... You must not know the team... Also, who from the pickups would start if those 8 starters were still their? I will answer that... NO ONE!!!! Good luck this season, but if you keep it real you would admit that DTS is in a little trouble.... NO BENCH!!!kikit14 wrote:Try this.. One good defender one below average defender. One average forward. Hey Cesar keep hating on DTS they love proving people wrong! Lol. You must be one of the stud defender parents! Lol.
