DT Dallas (0) Cosmos (1) - Don't see any reason to pick against Cosmos, been getting good results all year. Will be interesting to see how they play with a little bit a target on them now since they are in second place.
DT South (1) Solar Gold (2) - Can be tough playing against your old team for the first time. Might make it a little closer than expected. DTS still has some talented girls
FCD Premier (1) LP Elite (0) - FCD Premier looks to have the best defense in the league and have shut out the top two offensive teams (Sting G and Solar G). LP Elite has given up at least one goal in every game except one, should be the best game of the weekend.
Sting G (5) - LP Keegan (0) - Way too much size and speed up top for Sting G and I'm not sure Keegan still has a full time keeper.

It's been a pretty entertaining first third of the season so far. Hope it continues.

Rain and tequila sunrise thoughts in my ranking order:

1. Solar Gold: Fizzling a bit. They are strong, but although I still have them at #1, I am not convinced they are the best team in the league, top 3 for sure.
2. Sting 03: Probably the most athletic team of D1. Physical and fast they are fitting right into the Sting mold.
3. LP Elite: I have always liked this team. They do go cold on finding the back of the net sometimes (as 11/12 yr old girls do) but they fundamentally strong and will remain top 3 this season.
4. FCD Premier: Skilled, scrappy, fast, well coached. This team can and will give anyone trouble.
5. Fever: Athletic and feisty, but seems to lack morale and team chemistry at times...
6. DT Dallas: Slow start, injuries early, but seem to be finding footing. I think this team will be better this season than most think.
7. Cosmos: Hit chemistry and a winning streak early, but after watching I find myself puzzled why everyone thinks they will maintain pace. It is a good story though, everyone loves the underdog.
8. DT South: The concept is still there, the coaching is still there, the desire is still there, but the "it" is not. If this team could merge with the likes of FWFC, they would be right back at the top.
9. Sting H: Development and systemic education of players with top tier potential is focus here, building a team to win is not. It is admirable, but does not fit the typical LH mold for sure.
10. Keegan... this team would fit in just fine in D2 and D3, but they just are not ready for the D1 gauntlet.

Pretty good breakdown herradura. Hard to argue with much of anything but for now I'm still buying Cosmos as being in that Top 5. Pulled off two big wins (heck no one else can say they've beaten two of your Top 4) and they have a style of play that suits their abilities. It works. Now if they don't get the long counter then it's hard to score but at this age you can still have success with it. Their margin of error most games is pretty slim but I admire the way they play as a team.

I was looking at the standings and from what I can tell based on historical results Solar Gold, LP Elite, and Cosmos have punched their tickets for DI next year. Only once in the past 7 years has someone with 13 points not avoided relegation. Not too shabby to pretty much be secured a spot after only 6 games.

Do any of tomorrow's fields recieve rain well? Who's quick to cancel?
