Looks like Lonestars '98 White will get their dose of N. Texas soccer and it will either taste good or really bad with Solar Red '98, Sting Flanny, Mustangs Bussey and Solar Blue Bones. That should be a fun 4 games for the Austin girls.

My quick count/estimation puts the number of total teams in these friendlies at right around 400. That's quite a bit of soccer being played.

Good luck to those teams that get the joy of playing in between the dump and the prison.

It's a traditional college showcase Tourney... Always draws big numbers and in the lower age Groups, since it is a US Club Soccer Event, gives the locals a chance to go 11 V 11...

Are these teams taking a fair share of guest players down there? If so it might even out the field a little. SS, you guys taking any guest players?

With several 99G teams making the trip, it's very hard to say what each team may do... I guess I'll login and let you know what I see from H-Town...

I will certainly miss playing between the dump and prison this year, not to mention the scenic drive to the fields. Our games are in Katy this year, maybe they will at least be by a landfill or waste treatment plant

    Any other Scores?
How did the 99 teams do? Any upsets or surprises with new additions to teams?

Great weekend, hot and HUMID!! Nothing like the humidity in Houston to make you appreciate the "dry" heat in Dallas.

It was a lot of fun. I don't know about the dry heat, but I certainly appreciated the A/C after our Sunday afternoon game!
