What about a D1 team that returns less than 50% Would a team such as that be moved down to D2?

Good point.

And say for example the Redknapp (Gerrad) team gets moved to D3, would a D3 team (probably Dfeeters) get moved to D2? I would assume they would have to fill that D2 spot somehow since there is only 8 teams in it anyways.

Last time around the top 2 in each bracket moved to the next weekend. In this case, that means 8 would survive to weekend #2 to play for those 4 spots. LHGCL has not published the format for this season so just making an assumption.

Why would you expect that they would publish something like that. So much more fun for people to not know and watch them post all their "thoughts" on how it will happen.

Alright don't get all pi$$y if I don't pick your dds team. My dd is not involved and I hate all of these teams equally. I just have a gambling problem and will pick for anything;

Your premise that gotsoccer is a reliable tool is part of the problem.

Case in point -

D'Feeters White earned 950 points for winning the platinum bracket at Tut
FC Dallas White received 2225 points for winning the gold bracket

LH seeding was based more on final standings in PPL and APL leagues.

http://youthsoccerrankings.us/ is a much more accurate ranking system than gotsoccer IMO.

Using the GotSoccer rankings here are the straight averages:
Bracket A - 25.8
Bracket B - 28
Bracket C - 44.5
Bracket D - 47

If you drop off the 4th seed from each pool, the straight average:
Bracket A 16.7
Bracket B 15.3
Bracket C 40
Bracket D 36

I would say they are very lopsided. There will be better teams in bracket A and B that miss the second weekend that would likely beat teams advancing from bracket C and D.

Gotsoccer aside - I think the 3rd place teams in brackets A and B are likely better than the second place teams (and possibly winners) of brackets C and D.

That theory will be tested in week 2 when C#1 plays A#2 and D#1 plays B#2

But in the end - win and you are in.
