03 PPL Landscape

Unfortunately, not tied in close enough to know of any injuries outside of our own team.  My DD plays for (letting the proverbial cat of the bag here) Royle and we had an injury in the game against Evo.  Obviously, not what BigE was referring to but, unfortunately, as the girls get bigger and stronger, injuries will become more common place.

We would be ecstatic if the D1 title came down to Royle and WTX on the 20th (or whenever it would get played).....because, simply put, it would mean we were able to do well against a lot of the solid teams we have between then and now (Larry, DT Red, Shankly, the Warriors and the Aztecs).

Triumph-Royle parent here as well . It's going to be fun to watch how the rest of this spring plays out.

A couple of surprising results over the last week or so. 38 goals for Evolution in 8 games in the Fall (nearly 5 a game). 1 in the last 3? Is it injuries or just a dry spell? Secondly, DT Red?.....two forfeits isn't a great way to start the Spring season, but now back-to-back losses have them at 0-4. That team has some serious ball skills....didn't see an 0-4 start from them.

Toe-punch....yeah, DT Red was at a tournament in San Antonio the first weekend of the season where we all played two games. Both went in the books as 3-0 forfeited wins for Sting Larry and FCD WTX Richardson.

Great teams in this division. Looking for some of the above mentioned (Evo and DT Red) to bring it during rest of season. Lots of ball control and skills from these teams. Don't count them out just yet. Should make for some great soccer watching! Congrats to Triumph for starting out against top contenders and doing their thing!

I have the same questions as Convo about Evo. The Spring is not playing out for them as I expected that it would. They are a skilled and talented group. There is a lot of good competition in this division and the teams that came up from D2 certainly are adding to the mix as well.
