I'd pretty much agree that they should win most tournaments they enter. They have the best goal scorer in the 03 division so that's a big plus and covers up any other deficiencies they might have when you know you have someone that at any given moment can run over or around anyone and score. There's really only two teams that consistently give them trouble, Solar Red and FCD Elite.

Things will definitely change next year with ECNL and age pure but until then I'd put my money on them most tournaments.

GTS, close enough. Thank you.

CPP, now there's a random topic. I wonder if we could work in age pure, ECNL, Kickball (I mean direct, sorry ;-) and the impact on new CPP rules into the thread?

No excuses for Sparta when they lose. Just having some fun on blogs. Kind of fun, better than talking about what RightWingDad said. Good stuff fun time. 13 year old girls that think us parents are weird. One more thing "mustbesparta" is a Sparta parent?? Have a great night everybody. Big clubs and indies.

Just messing with you Rightwing. I was trying to see how many pages this thread could go, but unfortunately it has come to an end. The CPP threads are the ones with multi page potential.

I'll be your huckleberry...Mr. Right-winger and Mr. Grand TX...It’s obvious that you all are trying to ignite the blog; I agree it has been rather boring as of late. So, let’s have some fun! If I’m not mistaking the last team to beat Solar was Sting G in the State Cup, Right? Solar beat Sting G in the Plano tourney 2-1 in a game that could have went either way. If I’m not mistaking Sting G played without their top forward. Who I believe is one of top players in the 03 division as well…your turn

I'll bite Lochwood, but I'm not trying to ignite the blog. Just sharing a few opinions, right or wrong.

I think FWFC Black beat Solar in a tournament out in Wylie last season, so yes they have been beaten here and there. I still think they are a cut above the level of everyone else in Lake Highlands 03...including Sting G. I think Sting G lost some of their middies to Sting Hilton...but maybe those parts are interchangeable in tournaments. Notice I avoided the C** word.

Could Elite or Premier or 1 or two others ever beat them? I guess anything's possible....but I'd say odds are not likely.

Sorry Lockwood, not trying to stir the pot or anything. Was simply responding to a previous post that was a bit confusing.

Your sting team is a great team and without a doubt has the most offensive weapons in the 03 group. Even without your Best forward right now they are still a powerful team and will only get better once she returns.

At this point it's really all about consistency and Solar is the most consistent team. I'm not sure they are the most talented, just the most consistent.

I will say that I think Sting will have one heck of a ECNL squad* to choose from between G, H and S. That team may indeed rival what Solar puts together.

* Pending impact due to age pure implementation, of course.

I think that you're correct when age pure hits the scope completely changes.
