Re: Week 7 D1 Predictions
FCD RED (0) - FCD PREMIER (2) - Premier continues strong start, should be a great game next week against DTS. Red has had 3 tough games in a row and D'Feeters next week will be no slouch.
SPIRIT (0) - SOLAR ( - No surprise, Solar continues to show their strength and they look to have woke up since their week 2 tie against DT.
FCD ELITE (0) - FWFC (1) - Elite is a good team, but FWFC controlled this game and continues to look strong in their debut D1 season.
DT (3) - STING F (0) - Nice bounce back DT after two tough games. Thought this would be closer.
MUTINY (1) - ANDROMEDA (6) - Andromeda has played tough all season.
STING H (1) - D'FEETERS (1) - Surprise of the week, not sure what happened, Sting H should win this game.
DTS (3) - COSMOS (0) - DTS has scored a lot of goals the last two weeks, will be a good match-up next week against Premier
I don't post often, but am curious to get others thoughts on the D1 landscape. It sure looks like LH screwed up not continuing with 3 divisions. The four additional D2 teams that moved up are struggling (RED started off well but has struggled against the top teams the last three weeks). There seems to be a noticeable difference in the top 9-10 teams compared to the bottom 5.

SPIRIT (0) - SOLAR ( - No surprise, Solar continues to show their strength and they look to have woke up since their week 2 tie against DT. Game got boring so watched more of the Premier/red and FWFC/Elite games. Solar is clicking on all cylinders.
FCD ELITE (0) - FWFC (1) - Elite is a good team, but FWFC controlled this game and continues to look strong in their debut D1 season. ???. Elite's curse on goal scoring continues. They had at least 4 that should have gone in. FWFC has perfected the long ball approach.
DT (3) - STING F (0) - Nice bounce back DT after two tough games. Thought this would be closer. Didnt see game but reports were it wasn't even close. Sting F was off. DT can play when they are focused.
MUTINY (1) - ANDROMEDA (6) - Andromeda has played tough all season.it was Mutiny... Enough said.
STING H (1) - D'FEETERS (1) - Surprise of the week, not sure what happened, Sting H should win this game. A bit of a surprise, but Hilton's early reign seems to be subsiding. Their jail break attack is not working on all cylinders right now.
DTS (3) - COSMOS (0) - DTS has scored a lot of goals the last two weeks, will be a good match-up next week against Premier DTS has had an aggressive attack as of late. Not a surprising outcome. Be interesting if their defense can match their offense next week.

When we played FWFC, they have a forward they definitely like to get the ball to, call it long ball or not. She may be the fastest 03 kid I've seen in 03 D1 in last 2 seasons. I'm pretty sure she could outrun any defender in the league with ease. Gotta mark that kid or you'll get burned.

It is definitely a long ball hybrid of sorts. Seems affective at the current time and you have to give them credit for their recent success. The forward you referenced is fast, not the fastest, and was negated during this particular game.
