Similar to what I heard. I also heard that a Sting G breakaway was taken away by ref after opponent fouled her. Sting G supposedly had clear advantage but ref didn't allow play to continue.

North Texas team won championship in Gold in the 04s with an all Texas final at that.

Shudda clarified...Only 03 NTX team to win championship.

To be rank #2 behind surf and in front of arsenal it's not joke.

Adrenalinetx -  I'm sure SoCal Holley is a decent team but their gotsoccer ranking is indicative of the number of tournaments that they play not their standing within their club or the SoCal forum.  There is no question in CA that Blue-Baker is the top Blues team and Blues-Holley is a top 7-10 team in CA.

Here is a cut'n paste from the end of season write up on both teams and the latest November rankings per their forum.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
After Fall Season and past weekend action; IMHO heres a top ten list for this age group.
1) Blues-In back to back weekends tied Surf after regulation with 120 minutes of zero goals, state champ gets the nod after Surf Championship.
2) Surf-extremely talented team, see comments above, the gap to #1 has vanished.
3) Arsenal-nice representation for So Cal soccer back east; way to go!
4) Eagles-CSL kingpin-team is interchangeable to #5
5) Legends-Minister of Defense would frighten most teams.
6) CSC-Breakup of team? Might be rated to high
7) Strikers OC-Nice SCSDL fall season, especially in toughest division in So Cal. The #2 team demolished them on Sunday,
8 Slammers-ahead of #9 due to showcase game;
9) Macias-Team hitting their stride again before this past weekend;
10) Holley-seems to be a one game team but has been competitive all year in their rough division.
Blues Bakers
Coached by Greg & Matt Baker
All year this team has had success. Going 14 months without a loss is an incredible accomplishment. They go into every match prepared and have very dedicated coaches. The only knock critics can find on that streak would be how few tournaments they enter. Their first big tournament of this year was Surf Cup and they didn’t disappoint winning a very close final. Their next big tournament was supposed to be Blues Cup but that was canceled this year. They went to Surf Thanksgiving and won that tournament in OT over a Surf team that felt like they were the better team that day. It wasn’t until the semi-finals of So Cal National Cup that the streak finally ended in OT against an unassembled AFC team. They played the other 11 top teams 11 times this year going 9-1-1. Despite not reaching the Far West Regionals this year three of their top 02 players guest played with the 01s and scored 25% of their goals in Boise, ID and added some serious fire power and depth to an already extremely talented team, helping them win Regionals. Congrats to the 01 team for back to back Regional Championships and the three 02 players that helped the cause.
Blues Holley
Coached by Brandy Holley
Last year this team was Strikers Holley but at the conclusion of So Cal National Cup they moved the team to Blues and now are poised as the 2nd best team behind Blues Bakers. They are a top 11 team in our age group and have competed all year against the best. They played the other top 11 teams 16 times this year and went 7-9 during that span.
Blues Holley U13 Outlook: Team has been on a recent roll with 3 tournaments in a row. They are a talented bunch and should be competitive once again among the top 11 teams. After this next year I assume they will be the Blues EGSL team once U14 hits.
Another glorious fall season has past; our daughters are growing up so fast; I wanted to keep this thread going since it probably one of the better ones in forum history IMHO. A top eleven rankings based strictly off of observations of games and before the age group change:
#1 So Cal Blues; impressive run in one of the deepest divisions in the country;
#2-#3 Legend and Arsenal-Two heavyweights that go at it like Ali-Frazier but both impressive in different ways.;
#4 Surf-Finished third in a very difficult division. Defending Nat Cup and West Region Champs will be there at the end again.;
#5-6-7; Co mingling Eagles, Slammers FC, and Strikers OC- Eagles as per usual won CSL Gold albeit with some surprises; Slammers went undefeated in a softer division; Strikers impressive second in the aforementioned tough division;
#8,9,10,11 Co mingling Slammers Carmargo, Sharks Toumi, West Coast Fc, and Blues Holley; all impressive teams that will challenge any of the top teams .
