LHGCL Weekend Scores / New Posting Procedure?

I hoped with the new way to submit scores, they would be posted quickly. Scores from Saturday aren't even showing up. Never seen such a slow process for something so simple. So.....anyone want to post any results you know of for Saturday and today? :-)

Why all the issues with when scores are posted? I have a question about your Monday to Friday job. I called you 43 times today and yesterday. Why have you not called me back yet? It has been longer than 4 minutes. What a lousy employee / company owner you are. I should boycott your place of employment. With that being said, these roles are done by volunteers. You want it better, do it yourself. Until then, shut up about it.

I would see how it would be offensive to ask a simple question if you are one of those 'volunteers' who 'volunteer' for an organization who gets paid well to be able to play in. Scores posted within 24 hours is not an unreasonable for any paid and/or 'volunteer'. Maybe volunteers should reconsider if they can't do what they volunteered to do correctly or promptly.

Just a thought, do you think all 20+ people have access to update the website? Each division / age group has their own commissioner I believe. I assume that is how its done, but I am not familiar with what it takes to update a site. I assure you I am not with LH as I have a job that would not allow me the time required. I understand its frustrating not getting your way. I am still upset about not getting that Red Rider BB gun 25 yrs ago. I can't imagine if your DD were younger and played JDL. You would be waiting for scores for a lot longer.

Oh, and I am sorry you will not be able to brag at the watercooler tomorrow about how your DD's team is now in 1st place in LH. Maybe she should play NPL or ECNL. I believe those scores are updated already.

I do believe you only have a certain amount of time to get your scores reported to commissoner so if you have a time constraint on that then it stands to reason to have a responsibility to post them.FC1 wrote:Just a thought, do you think all 20+ people have access to update the website? I have always wondered why they won't let us (team managers) submit the scores like they do in the boys Classic League. Those scores are usually posted as the teams are walking off the field. Just a suggestion LHGCL.

You cannot do it yourself. Per the league, it cannot be done by anyone with a DD in this division. 4 minutes I know is an exaggeration to make your point and point taken but 4 days to perform a quick task even for a volunteer is a little long.

The scores from this weekend are posted on the website.
Great job in the quick turnaround.
ThisMagicMoment needs to understand that people have lives and all though girls soccer is important, family and other things do come first.

FC1 Chillax sentient being. Why so aggressive towards a fellow sentient being who dared to ask a benign question. Your anger issues merit an intervention. "This magic moment" was asking for others to provide data that has not been provided in a timely matter over the course of the season, not just a one time issue. Based on the trend, ThisMagicMoment and others are somewhat frustrated with the lack of timeliness of the "Volunteer". Assuming that the info is only for water cooler talk is a bit naive. I mean some teams need to know what the current standings are in order to figure out CPP decisions. After all CPP is not just for development.

Not all weekend scores are posted. For every day it takes a D II score to post - add a day for DI.
So - back to the original post - anyone know the outcomes of the DI games this weekend? I too want to brag on how great we are.

You would think by now that your DD and probably you would have a network of friends and can find out the score of games in your division as soon as the game ends.
Mine can usually tell me from various social media who won, or I can do it old school and text a friend on any other team in the division and ask.

Our age group had this problem two years ago. Several days before scores would get posted. Last year? Worked very well, scores posted same day. The human element cannot be ignored.

The scores from last night's games were posted by 11pm and the standings reflected those scores. That's pretty impressive so creds and kudos to the folks who post those up on the site. Shout out to my DD's team who is new to LH and is off to a nice start including shutting out a previously unbeaten LH veteran team last night. It's great what cohesiveness and staying healthy can do for a group.
