The fields are small...in my experience they cram 11 v 11 on the 9 v 9 fields. If I remember correctly one of the few "regular" size fields was the football field. On a windy day the girls would get more balls through the uprights instead of the net.

I just looked at the field numbers for all of the Gold Div games and they're all scheduled to be on the larger fields. No 9v9 or football fields. However, I'm still disappointed that they dont' have a Semi- for the Gold division. Looking at the talent pool in the tournament one loss and you're finished. Therefore you have to win your bracket.

I'm not saying I agree with it, but my guess is, it was done this way because the Solar Davis team is an unknown at this point. Word on the street is that both Tsapos and Davis lost the tops of their rosters pre-merger. And didn't Liverpool Savage play Davis (with an intact roster) to a tie most recently? So, wait and see, I say. The brackets may still change yet.

Lostboy...I thought you would be glad that your team was in the Gold Division. Are you saying that you want to play in the Silver...where is the faith?

Aren't the rankings for the gold division a little off given the most recent tournament outcomes. I would have thought that the rankings would have been.....

Maybe it's just me but it seems at a minimum Sting F and Sting G shouldn't be in the same bracket.
