I miss Rasta. Heard from Ca, Sting moved on to semis and play same team we tied this morning. My kid is having a blast and enjoying the cool weather. Thanks to all the NTX parents who have reached out to support our girls.

Great overall TEAM effort. The Defense has been playing lights out! This is the best of the best and we are damn proud of our girls and the way they are playing. Home cooking is hard to over come but the girls play with pride and purpose.
Win or lose the championship game it has been a great experience. Go Sting!

I noticed 98 FC (ranked 4th) played against many of the top 98 teams at Surf Cup this weekend per nationalsoccerrankings.com. For 97s, Sting Q is listed number 2 and is playing in the finals against host Surf White ranked 42nd. How has the Surf Cup competition been for the Sting 97 team?

Several of the teams that Sting played are highly ranked in the GotSoccer standings. Sounds like they had a great tournament. Congratulations to them!

This is by far the toughest tournament we have played in. The competition from North and South Cal was great. We played the best of the best and won. Sting 97 represented North Texas in a great way.
Different sources for different rankings but in one ranking the team we beat for the Championship was ranked #1 in the nation and California.
July 2nd with 6 new girls the preparation began for Surf Cup. Through sweat, tears and a lot of hard work they hung together as a team and bonded. The credit goes to the girls, the coach and they way they played as a TEAM. Seven different girls scored in this tourney. The Defense stopped the best of the best again and again...they were warriors out there. We are very proud of the team and the way they represented North Texas!
