OK, Sting West Blue was given a DIII spot because Solar did not make a team for their bye. After hearing that, it was learned that FWFC was brought up to DII, not sure who left DII for that to happen? If that is true and it is, then there should be another DIII opening yes??? So again I will say interesting things at the meeting coming up and some good fodder for discussion when this all becomes clear.

The word is 2 d2 teams merged, opening d2 spot. FWFC next in line moves up, Sting W B, takes a d3 spot, so does that still leave one open? And with the team/club shakeups in May and June, it only logically makes sense that the league would shakeup the same in August? So... wait and see?

Crazy, crazy.....so if this is true, there should still be a D3 spot open and if so, wouldn't Andromeda also get into D3, since they have the next highest points from the QT? And, from all of this, the only team that has been able to sit on the sidelines, watch at all the commotion going on is Texas White Dallas....because they didn't have to requalify and weren't impacted by any of the team movements.....fun stuff.....the LHGCL meeting will either be interesting or disappointing depending on if this whole mess gets explained or swept away as "it is what it is"..... oh well, let's play some soccer already....

Does anyone actually have a list of the D-II/DIII teams so we can sort this out?

Ok this is what I can figure out but I am not certain
    D2
Solar Red -Earned bye formerly FWUEG (moved up from D3 had own bye)
FCD Red - Earned Bye (moved up from D3)
Sting West regulated down to D2
    Sting Royal remain in D2
    ASG remain in D2
TXNS Red North Remain in D2
    NTX Stricker Remain in D2
Solar Blue D3 took the original Solar Red bye into D2
Solar Royal had bye as TX Spirit
    D3
OPEN BYE ( was not filled by solar since solar blue had this bye and took the old solar reds bye to D2)
    Sting Royal remains finished 4th
    TXNS White remains finished 5th
FWFC Regulated down from D2 to D3
Solar White Regulated down to D3 but disbaned and Hurst United Black went to solar and took this bye)
    Polaris in due to QT
FC Dallas Blue in due to QT
Sting Silver in due to QT
TFC Blue in due to QT
How and why would a team that was regulated down be put back up? would it not go to the next team with the most team points? This is totally crazy. Does anyone know or is it going to be a waiting game until Wednesday night?

I think you might have meant relegated down rather than regulated down.

Does anyone know if FWFC moved up?
    Or which two teams combined?
WOW what a circus. LH rule of 75% team keeping the bye or it stays with the club sure cause confusion this year with all the changes. Wonder if LH rules will change for next year due to this?
Didn't the other age groups with more than 4 spots to give out have playoff for the extra spot?

I am a bit surprised no one has found the gotsoccer link to the team list yet. I would, but I have no clue how its done.

Ok this is a huge mess but where in the bye laws does it say what happens if there is a open spot in a division that needs to be filled? Have all the coaches and managers been informed of this because I am sure several teams would like to challange for it and would'nt that be the fair and honest way vs. doing it under the table like it seems to be happening?

The QT was the vehicle to the league, so there were only so many "good teams" out there trying to make the league. Top in each group (4) moved in. Whether 1 or 4 teams folded, the teams should come in order out of the QT...
In this case if the team that gets in the 5th open spot get in they could make the case for being the 2nd best in the QT...
This seems the challenge was had, and another is not necessary...
