DII should have very little point seperation based on the results of last year and Summer classic... unless someone is so consistant in scoring goals that they can actually run away. At some point though we'll need a prediction thread for DII...

LHGCL changed their web address to:
http://www.girlsclassicleague.org/
Traded a com for an org, so that is why some can not connect.

Let's hope we don't repeat last years constant postponements. We had the same game canceled 3 times!! LOL

Any news from the LHGCL Board meeting?
Has there been a reconsideration of 10 Teams in DII and only 8 in DIII?

I did hear from a FWFC 95 parent that their first game was postponed and not because of rain.

I did hear from a FWFC 95 parent that their first game was postponed and not because of rain. One day somebody will come clean on this and we will all know. I have to say after 5 years of select and some more in academy, this is the best kept secret ever since the change of teams occurred in August, I guess LHGCL has a don't tell or else proposition out? Maybe the commish can enlighten us when it is over??....hey a little intrigue in our old age.
Just got notice from our manager that our game Saturday against FWFC has been cancelled and that DII will be going back to 9 teams as well as DIII.
Anybody elses games cancelled ? If not it sounds like Solar wins and FWFC goes down to DIII.
This is really getting stupid.

Re: Lake Highlands DII & DIII
Looks like the Summer long mystery has ended with Solar Blue (last years DIII 3rd place) moving up to DII on old Solar Red bye into DII. FWFC relegated from DII to DIII stays in DIII. Sting W Blue gets in by virtue of 5th QT spot left over from old Solar Wht DIII bye being lost.
Seems fair... based on the current rules since only the club had the "right" to the bye.
So it seems FWFC had DIII bye this Saturday and Strikers have the DII Saturday off.
DII/DIII prediction threads can now be posted.

The Commish Speaks...
Managers/Coaches,
Well I have news from the board meeting last night. As most of you are familiar with the split in division creating a 10 team division II and 8 team III, the board revisited the issue again last night. To make a very long story short, the board voted to correct the mistake that was made in creating the 10/8 split in divisions II & III. Each division will now have 9 teams. As you know making this change at this stage in the game will mean impact to your teams schedule. The schedule for this division will have to be re-worked. This should not cause any more delays in when games are played. I expect a new schedule to come out over the next few days.
The boards intent with the decision was to right a wrong and do what is best for the integrity of the league and its teams. With this change I no longer see a need to meet to discuss why we have a 10/8 division split. If there are any further concerns in regards to this, please let me know. I look forward to putting this behind us and getting on with the season. Again I appreciate all your time and feedback in regards to the matter and wish you all the best of luck in the season.
Thank you,
Brandon Brown
U16/U95 DIII LHGCL Commissioner
