Adames’s...either you love them in a cult type of way or hate em in a “why are they still around” type way.
And some just like winning....then after the winning stops you turn into the “why are they still around?!” type.

Yessir -- Poor 04 teams.  Sorry Cardinal but I gotta call ya out on this one ... Just too darn teed up.

That State Cup run included a win and a draw against the 3rd tier teams in the '04 group at Solar and FCD respectively and two more vs the 04 Texans South team (and we all know how shady that is ... same coach and both could then advance to Regionals, so ...).

I should also add that just a couple weeks prior to that State Cup, I lost track of the score after 5-0 when the this same team (+ a couple of the '04 kids) played FCD's top '04 team (the State Cup champs the year prior).  Thinking it may have ended at 7-0 ... not 100% on that as most of us kinda stopped watching.  I do recall those '05 DTS parents being a bit chippy because their little darlings were starting to get emotional on field as they weren't used to drubbings of that nature.  Ohhh well ... proved to be good for them right?    

That ^, and my previous comments have nothing to do with their performance in some preseason tourney that represented somewhere close to 10% percent of the DA comp out there ... The season doesn't start until September 1 ya know --

Regarding Big E Comments, I have zero knowledge of any scrimmage/game that took place in the run-up to the State Cup tournament. I do have a couple questions about the "alleged" game. That pre-AP 04 FCD State-cup team was a powerhouse. Key being pre-AP. That team was broken apart after the state cup win when they knocked off Liverpool Elite. Who did the 05 DTS team actually play? Was it the 04 LW FCD JDL team? The 04 FCD State Cup team was rebranded the JDL team, which was a combination of top players from a bunch of other teams, and that AP 04 team became the core of the current 04 FCD DA team. Correct? Regardless, if the game was a beat down, then so be it. Every team gets embarrassed from time to time (see Man City versus Liverpool - France Versus Croatia, etc.). It's a humbling game. That is why you take the collective body of work. 99.9% of the teams would love to have a small portion of their accomplishments.

Sounds like the basis of this debate is the never ending “right vs wrong” way to play soccer thing.

Bige is just mad because they didn't pay for hudl or bio banding or whatever else he's pushing and they ain't from Collin county. If you let better athletes in you might ruin the money train up north.

Yes -- That 2016-17 FCD State Cup U12 Champ team was stout ... The core of which now make up much of the '02/'03, '03, and '04 FCD GDA rosters.  

The match I mentioned here was after AP so was LW's '04 FCD JDL Red team vs the soon to be U13 State Cup Champ '05 DTS team.  And yes -- every team gets embarrassed from time to time ... Happened to those same girls this past year vs Real CO '04 GDA.

That's the attitude E....hate the game not the player. Probably would do you some good to sit on gabes lap and let him teach you how it's done.
