Defunct Club?
A younger work associate of mine is relocating to DFW area (most likely near the airport) and their kids play travel/competitive soccer. They asked me for a referral for a local Club that is 'family oriented'. I knew of the Southlake Saints but cannot locate them - are they still around? If not, were they adsorbed/merged into another? Thanks.

Have them look at the big clubs, too. Their kids will be exposed to better opportunities. Solar is huge and have teams all over the metroplex - close to 275-300, I think. Great coaches and very competitive. They offer both DA and ECNL, girls and boys.

Talk and check out multiple practices and coaches and clubs. Coaches do move clubs from time to time. Be informed and ask all of your questions. I'd hit up every club near you.

Check out Fever United. They practice in Southlake/Keller area. They are an independent club that feels a bit more like family, and they still offer a lot of the extras that the bigger clubs offer.

Happy? How do you glean from a statement that I’m happy?
I answered the question that the original poster asked they was no smiley face to make you assume I was happy, in fact it’s a sad day when another small club goes by the wayside

Um, the Saints are still around. Their 08 boys are in classic league this year. I think they've just had a few of their older teams migrate to other clubs.

Re: Defunct Club?
If Coach RR is still running the Saints I would stay away. Not to mention the new owner is a complete joke who has zero soccer knowledge. Just throws money at whatever problems come up. Buyer Beware.
