Game of the Week

Finally some soccer this weekend. Game of the week has to be Dallas Rebels vs FC Legends. Clash of two athletic attacking styles. I think Legends has a slight edge.

Did anyone here see Texans South defeat Rush 4-1? I'd love to get some context, because that's a serious upset, in my opinion...

Upset, sure. But serious, idk . . . Rush is definitely NOT the same team as last season. Rebels on the other hand is stronger than ever.

Last week's game of the week was the dud of the week. This week is ELITE UNITED vs FC DALLAS YOUTH 07B PREMIER. No predictions this time. Heard on Rush game last week, missing some players maybe their forward.

Interesting that Allegiance tied again. The Rebels and Solar Mckinney game on 11/11 is looking more interesting by the week as they seem to be the two most consistent.

The game to watch this week is East Texas Wildcatters and Dallas Texans. Who is going to get their season going in the right direction. Also Legends-Rush

Any report on the Rebels vs FCD ETX tie?? Major slip for Rebels.

Rebels vs FCD ETX was actually a back and forth game. ETX had several opportunities on counters that they dd not capitalize on. Rebels just couldn't get their trademark shots off. FCD make some key saves toward the end of the game.

Anybody know what happened to the teams at the bottom of D1? I know Volkan lost some players but any word on Liverpool Carragher or ETX Wildcatters? Looks like they may be headed to D3

I think the DA exodus and combining of Kennington\Volkan has created some chemistry issues on their team. They have a great goalie and I think without him their GA would be much worse.

Kennington/Volkan combination?!? No Kennington players on this team. The only connection is Volkan's D2 team minus 3 players that went DA took Kennington's bye. Volkan's team couldn't finish top 4 in D2 last year...now they've lost they're top players. They are exactly where you'd expect them to be in the table.

Agree to all, except I’m pretty sure they lost 4 players to DA. Losing your “top” 4 players is nearly impossible for any team to overcome very quickly. They basically lost the spine of their formation, minus the keeper.

Interesting to see how the players that come back from DA after this season fit into their old teams...or not.

Definitely looking forward to those two games! Although the shine is off Allegiance. Everyone had them rated pretty high and they have the same record as Solar Martinez. Doubt many saw that coming.

I'd like to be the first to congratulate Solar McKinney 07 on winning Classic League this season. Great win this week against a quality opponent (Rebels 07b). They now stand alone atop the hill. Finish Strong.

Unfortunately what should have been a great game of two high level soccer teams turned into an ugly display of cursing, racist taunts and threats of violence from the Rebels. Rebels coach was ejected, field marshall verbally abused and forced to hand off duties to another parent and all around ridiculous behavior by the Rebels.

If you attended that game you saw what is wrong with youth sports today. Dirty tactics aside, "11" year olds that curse and threaten other players should NEVER be tolerated. Very disappointing.

Yes it was a circus. I was almost ran over twice by the league officials in the golf carts driving over to the rebels side to help the field marshall manage that mess. It was really bad. Rebels coach yelling at ref. then crossing in front of McKinney's bench to the far corner to try and get another set of refs. ,who had nothing to do with the game, to come get in the middle of the game. They looked at him like he was nuts and wanted nothing to do with him. That's about when he was ejected.

I heard about the racial comments and the sad thing is it was coming from the rebel field players and aimed at McKinney's players. Really bad display of sportsmanship and learned bad human behavior. Sorry to those who were on the receiving end of that. And honestly I feel sorry for those rebel kids that have been taught that type of behavior.

Rebels coach should be banned for a few games.

Classic should have a ZERO TOLERANCE policy when it comes to racist behavior.

Team should be Banned from Classic for 1 year.

It is easy for these kids and coached to walk around happy when they are winning all the games.....when things get tough, the real colors come out....

I do not know what was said, I arrived on scene as rebels coach was leaving and heard McKinney ask refs to listen for racial slurs. I was like, “wtf?”

Last minute change at the fields. Rush vs Mckinney and Rebels vs Stars and Stripes. Rush won in PKs and Rebels won 3-1.
