That sounds like pillow talk to me foxy. Good to know you’ll be able to pay this week’s bar tab!

Are we talking about a factor of 5 or more? Is one group getting 5 times more development? Five times more exposure?
Ooooo... strong argument...

I think you are on to something here. D'Feeters players pay probably 5 times more than SRFC players, lost to a team that they are 5 times better than... development wise, and now get 5 times the exposure by having their name all over the board for losing to this "budget" indy team. High 5 to SRFC!

They didn’t just get lucky and beat Feet...they were outplaying them from what I saw. They have atheletes all over the field. Not to mention the fact they are undefeated in D2 right now. I’m surprised a club like Sting or Solar hasn’t talked them into coming over to them yet. But then again I would ask what’s in it for SRFC?
Uhh paying $600(or something really low) for the year, playing other sports, no meat grinder. SRFC has their niche, probably have no interest in 'being absorbed'.

True, I bet most, of not all, of the players are pretty happy. I doubt it’s as low as $600, but who knows. I don’t think $600/player would even cover league costs and tournaments. I bet it’s closer to $1000-1500, but still really “low”.

The feet team does come with 5 times the drama.

Honestly, at this point, for this team, the bigs probably have very little to offer them that would be a better value than what they have.

Do I sense some sarcasm? BigE is not going to like this, not one little bit.

Oh the irony Foxer ... my God, the irony -- ya couldn't be any further off Madame
I've known this Coach, Manager, and many of the players + families on a personal level for a half decade. Coached against em, watched em grow, trained some of their players, even had my kid play with them here and there. Fantastic bunch of kids and families, some of which have been together from the get go. I'll reiterate (and canaryman can testify) what some of the smart people here have already mentioned ... The SRFC team and most of their players have no reason to make a move to one of the Bigs. In fact, some that have done so over the years, have come back.
Congrats to them on all of their successes!
