That's good, I'm a crazy parent myself, just not towards my daughter, practices or games. I've already taken shots over at the SoCal Forum!

I wish my DD's team was there, our club director elected not to go...but we are very similar to Cedar Stars. I picked Voutier to win again this year. Tennessee Soccer Club was my sleeper pick but it looks like the Chicago Fire is actually the sleeper after the first games!

I only see 3 blowouts in 12 games and the blowouts were all top teams against some of the lowest ranked teams in the tournament. Today should be more competitive with better games.

The Tennessee team’s loss was an upset but they were the lowest ranked 1 seed and their 1 seed slot was generous. I expect FCD or Samba to win that bracket with the other getting a wildcard... we will see. The true shocker for me was Solar South’s 1-1 tie to Cosmos. I guess South found out how good their keeper and defense can be. My DD’s team played Seattle United to a 2-2 tie and they were really strong... in my opinion they would be a top 5 team in NTX... no way should they have been a 3 seed slot.

As a whole, the competition looks great and other than horrific parking, the tournament is awesome.

I agree with nTxsoccRfan about Cosmos. I haven't seem them beat any of the top 5 teams, but they have tied several of them multiple times. No doubt they are a strong contender.

I am proud of all the Texas teams, I thought we would have 4 or 5 make gold. Maybe all NTX teams can take each bracket, we shall see. CONGRATS!!!

If they ever try to bring supercopa back to dallas at money gram can we all plan a riot?! This parking and traffic... good grief.
But some good soccer being played by north Texas for sure. Looks like dfeeters voutierre skated by Solar Angelone with a win today... but my money is still on them to win this. I would love to watch a final between them and the Slammers. Should be some good games to come. Good luck to all.

Defeeters and Slammers can only meet in semifinals. If favorites win out in gold bracket, its Players Elite vs Solar South, and Defeeters vs Slammers

And a train blocked the dirt road exit for at least half an hour after the last games yesterday. Creating jam on top of a jam. Where else could this have been played at one site? Sponsors love the one site approach.
