Yes

how does playing 3 minutes at a time benefit the development of these kids? This just promotes "kick the ball as hard as you can towards the goal, hurry up we only have 2 minutes left" soccer. why not stick with regular league play like you have in the past? This may be the reason you are looking for more teams. Just a thought. Our team was wanting to play there but were turned off by this Golden Goal thoery! You cant develope 3 minutes at a time.

the way it was explained to me:

for example all 02 girls will play for an hour(or so), they will play 3 minutes at a time. winning team stays on losing team gets off, if they tie they are both off"

I don't have any association with this place other than a couple of my DD's playing there, and thought I would do them a favor by posting as they had only a couple slots left in a couple age groups, but plenty of teams for a fun and competative season.

From my understanding though, and this will be our first go around here, when the team is "off" they are not done, they just go to the back of the line. There are multiple courts of the same age group/division playing at the same time, so they don't stay out for long. It is similar to the prior Odyssey winter tournaments. The kids should get plenty of playing time, and it allows the coaches with multiple teams not to be at the facitlity all day.

This sounds like pick-up soccer not a league!
