I see it as 9:00am but you are right we can't ease into that game. In fact, looking at the whole tournament I see there will be a bunch of competitive games. There might be some surprises in group play.

It will be interesting to see if either of the two Oklahoma teams have anything. Do you think they requested Gold or just ended up there. Anyone know anything about them...any Okies watching the threads?

Two things:

1) You don't send teams to NTX unless you think they can play...

2) Since they still play 8V8 at U11 in OK, there will be a certain All-Star element to the rosters they send down....

The TSC team beat two very weak teams to get into the semis at Beat the Heat and got beat 7-1 by Blitz White. NYSA Fury Green beat two weak teams and was able to advance to finals where they were dispatched 8-0 by the Blitz team. My guess is they played gold U11 in Oklahoma, and registered accordingly.

When is someone going to come up with a NCAA basketball tourney type grid for kids soccer? It would be good for the predicitons.....

You are right Geno I don't know what I was thinking but if SS is going to start wearing those stripes he might just have to get up early on the weekends. Word on the streets is that SS likes eating popcorn and watching a good game so I'm bringing the jiffy pop just in case.

You saw it first here on TXSOCCER...a snapshot of SS's first game!!! It was a 7:30am game and he had to get up early.

I thought SS said he would be in Lewisville this weekend running the pitch at BW.
Double D, maybe you can run that jiffy pop over there for a mid morning snack, don't forget a cool drink. If you can't make it give me a holler and I'll drop it off for ya' on my way home from our 7:30a at Pizza Hut.
