Interesting voting results for D1, so far.

Voters picking FC Dallas over Solar. Who'd have believed that a few weeks ago? FC Dallas with nice PLD tourney and tying Feet in Week 1. Solar seems to be getting it together after poor Week 1 vs. Texans. Solar did have a good PL weekend. Has makings of a really good game.

Poll picking Sting firmly over Texans. Surprised more haven't credited Texans for beating Sting in State Cup and impressive 4-0 win over Solar, Week 1. Also Sting having lost to Lonestars in PL this weekend. Sting showing some vulnerability. This has to be the game of the week.

Revolution overwhelmingly over Spirit. Spirit not a good PLD tourney. Rev Prem did have a pretty good PLD and got a win over Solar Red at Beat the Heat. Though early in season, this game is an opportunity for 1 of these teams to get an upper hand in the fight to stay in D1.

Mustangs couple of good results in PLD with wins over NYSA Fury (PL team) but tied Spirit and beaten soundly by FC Dallas. Which Mustang team shows up vs. Feet? This game at Gerault so we won't be able to watch other games. Bummer.

Solar Red gets the weekend off after good PL weekend. Nice win over Lonestars. SR ready to make a little noise?

Solar still probably not 100%. FC obviously playing well. A win here and FC would announce they are a contender to fight their way into PL.

Have to go with Sting, but barely. State cup conditions were very different -- cold and windy -- and Texans have historically played their best in tournaments, not league.

Socrocks, I hope you provide your team with ample lesson notes from BTH when you next meet SR. Get them prepared for an easy game against "no better than the 5th best team".

Regarding this game, I think the sense is that it will be a long season for Spirit. Wish them luck. Have to give them credit for having the fighting spirit to get back into D1, even though they knew what to expect, having been there before. This is a game they have a chance to pick up point(s).

Feet should win, and get their LH campaign rolling. Mustangs will fall back a bit from their finish last year.

Solar Red gets the weekend off after good PL weekend. Nice win over Lonestars. SR ready to make a little noise?

Not at all Socrocks. Just move it along. Nothing to see here.

Should be a great game. Solar with the finesse and FC with their physicalness. If Solar keeps them spread out, they win 1-0.

Sting will show some patience and come back after the loss to Lonestar. Texans will try to keep it fast paced and take Sting out of their game. Sting by 1.

Revolution takes this one. Spirit just doesnt have the weapons and Revolution has some speed.
    2-0 Revolution.

Could be interesting. Mustangs beat Fury twice in the PLD. Fury tied Solar 3-3 in PL and lost to Feet 2-1. Good group of athletes but still no solid keeper. Feet trying to make a mark early. Feet 2-0.

Solar Red gets the weekend off after good PL weekend. Nice win over Lonestars. SR ready to make a little noise?

Kudos to SR. Made me look really bad with their solid win of Lonestar. I tip my hat and bow out for now.

It will be a long year for Spirit...as I understand it, they lost 2 key players 2 weeks prior to signing to FCD that hurt them....out of the blue... Still a competitive team, but not at the DI level.

Polichetti is a good coach though, and will come up with some Italian recipe to cook up some points. Good luck!

We appreciate the kudos. We all know anything is possible, so you had a 50/50 chance in your prediction. Just so happens our girls came to play and did a fine job. It was a hard fought game by both teams from start to finish.

FC is playing well right now and Solar is finally getting healthy. I watched them play last weekend and it appears only one player is out and their sweeper is working her way back onto the field. If the rains keep them off the field this weekend it will be good for Solar by giving them more time to practice with original starters.

Texan's look good and are playing team soccer. I think they beat sting.

    Revolution hands down.

Feet, Mustangs just aren't the same team as last year.

Solar Red gets the weekend off after good PL weekend. Nice win over Lonestars. SR ready to make a little noise?

No games for Sunday. I guess this week will be exciting with all the games during the week if they are played. Monday and Tuesday have a chance of storms.

Looking at the Lake Highlands rules it looks like the FC Dallas vs Solar game will be played
over in it's entirety if it was stopped before the final whistle.

own method of scheduling games, subject to LHGCL Executive
Board approval, among teams in all age divisions each season

having teams play the most competitive schedule possible.
    2. Spring scheduling will allow for State Cup play.
    3. Incomplete Games: Regular season league games that are stopped
