Just curious, what's your reasoning behind this?

Funny, but please don't throw this thread off topic. I really am curious about the whole shift to 11v11 and which teams will be moving when.
I assume the teams in TGPL and DIAL Gold will play 11v11 from here on out unless a tournament is only 9v9 or they are missing a chunk of their roster.

What I would like to know is which teams are considering these tournaments.
May 4-6: Primetime Summer Classic (Carrollton) (Lists 9v9 and 11v11)
May 11-13: Primetime Champ Cup (Carrollton) (Lists 9v9 and 11v11)
May 18-20: Legends Tournament (Lewisville) (9v9)
May 18-20: Shawnee Trail Shootout (Frisco) (9v9)
May 25-27: Primetime Summer Shootout (Carrolton) (Lists 9v9 and 11v11)
May 25-27: ACES Adidas Summer Classic (Lewisville) (9v9)
June 1-3: Adidas Invitational (Plano) (9v9)
June 8-10: Primetime Summer Invitational (Carrolton) (Lists 9v9 and 11v11)

I think to often parents get too eager for their kids to grow up and rush them into 11v11 (see some of the teams in the 11v11 Primetime league). I always thought you should be able to connect passes and reverse the field in 9v9 before you add two more players and make the field larger.
Just my opinion though.

There are two teams in the 03 group that I've seen play that connect passes and can control possessions, SRSA & DTS, and thus I think they are skilled enough to play 11v11, although some 9v9 is still good. I hope to get to watch Sting Scarfone this weekend so maybe there's three out there.

I would pay DTS a different complement. I don't think they connect any better than the tier 2 teams but rather they are extremely good at keeping the ball at their feet. I was really impressed w/ the dribbling ability of that team as a whole and their willingness to take defenders on 1v1 and 1v2 with skilled dribble and ball control. I'm not sure what this will do for them as a team longer term but individually I think these young ladies have some bright futures. Their courage/confidence with the ball at their feet may explain why a team like Searls/Scarfone is able to play them closely. Searls/Scarfone is a more physically taxing team that defends with the body very well and would win their fair defensive share of 1v1 battles against the DTS dribblers. A bit off topic but my 2 cents...
