what are predictions???
Have watched both recently and am still undecided.
Comparing the two teams I have to break down
OFFENSE
FCD has great offense who can score score score-but under pressure? not as much. has scoring machine that has to lead league.
Higgs doesnt score as much but seem to score under pressure well.Have one prime striker but she distributes good also.
MIDDLE
FCD has a very strong player in middle-dazzling to watch-great skill-vision -unslefish passer.
Higg has size, strength, physical presence in middle- not as fancy but they dont lose many balls in middle

Defense FCD has size, skill and seems well organized. some skill in the back.

Higg has speed but not as skilled and not as organized however outside seem to get invloved in offense
Keepers
Both are good-from recent play looks as it Higg's has had more shots taken on her. FCD's doesnt touch the ball much. Which could be good or bad.

Coaches

FCD
Been with this team longer knows girls wel,more exp with younger groups
Good practice and game coach if can remain calm,
Will play to win-possibly not playing everyone, knows higg team and who to shut down, wants to prove himself after state cup loss
I think they lead wins over TXNS

HIgg
More coaching exp overall in tight situations
good practice coach and game coach if can remain composed with younger group.
Will pull out all stops to win.
Will pull from experience and will prob. have several big coaches on bench.

FCD is best team in league with best player. Texans 02 recently tied Grubb 01 then trounced a Fever team last weekend that was coming off back to back draws against Tx South and FCD Grubb. This could go either way. Keepers could be the deciding factor, one mistake and your digging the ball out of the net. Coaching could come into play. Higg has been in the biggest games there are for girls soccer. I think Texans are peaking and playing well at the right time. If the refs stay out of the way I think Texans beat FCD 1-0 in the best most physical game of the year. Theses are clearly the two best teams. Having said that wouldn't shock me if FCD pulled it out, they are so talented. Good luck to both!

Subs could also come into play. Do these coaches sub at all, if so who has the stronger bench.

Either way going to be a hell of a show-get the popcorn!And all fans better let parents get best seats. lol

I think FCD is the better passing team. I'll pick them for that reason. They are both very good.

Same time as Higg is supposed to be coaching his DT '00 vs LP '00 Elite.... I told my daughter (DT '00) this last night and she asked which team he would be coaching. My response:

"Baby, that '02 game is the biggest game of the year and for the Grand Championship. Ryan's going to be coaching the '02s and I'm going to be watching him do it!!!"
