Kind if stinks to go all the out there for only 2 scheduled games.

Screwy format. WIth (2) 3 team brackets it's normally cross-played. Copa is having them only play 2 bracket games and then advancing 4 of the 6 teams to semifinals. There's also a consolation game between the bracket losers. EIther way, everyone is guaranteed 3 games.

Feet played in this the last 2 years and the field was much deeper. Wonder why the fall off? Weather looks to be a threat, too. Glad we're home this year.

Don't you just love how they reward the team that travels 1500 miles to play in their tourney by giving them THE ONLY 7:30am game opening day. All of the other teams are local. I know FCD traveled from east to west, but still...

Feet have been twice and Sting once...but no hardware. Good luck FCD, hope you fare better.

I don't think they are playing up. It is still the U14 division. Many teams on the west coast have 95 in the team name even though they are classified as a 96 team.

Looks like FC advanced by winning their second game of bracket play. I am sure the parents are happy that there will at least be a third game. To travel that far for a 2 game bracket really stinks. FC will play the winner of bracket B which I believe will be in a shootout this morning because 2 teams are tied for first across the bored. I still dont get the 2 brackets with 3 team set up. We were told last year that this tournament really falls off after U13 and it looks like they were right.
