Website says there are 5 teams competing for the 5 open spots so no QT.

So who are the 5 teams? And which team didn't make (in order to have 5 teams instead of 4)?

Andromeda's D-II(being relegated to D-III) team did not make.

Don't know what 5 teams are in. Accepted teams list has never been made available.

No. The vacancy created is a D-III vacancy. The old Andromeda was being relegated, so Amarillo and a vacant bye get relegated to D-III, and Sting West White and AFC move up, thus no vacancies in D-II. Adromeda doesn't have a team to claim the 2nd bye, thus 5 open slots in qualifying, instead of the 4 cited in the rules.

The old Andromeda team.  Since they were being relegated to D-III, their bye was a D-III bye.

Actually the BYE is from TFC Red 97. When they moved to Andromeda they did not have the 75% of the roster to retain the bye they earned as TFC Red. So they slide into the bye left when the Andromeda 97 fell apart. Either way nice to not have a QT.

I think San Angelo will not be back.
I will guess FT Worth FC ,Sting East, Polaris from last season and Spirit Red as one of the new teams.

There were no 97's playing King Tut and only 3 playing Puma Cup. Arsenal, GSSC and Texas Lightning played Puma Cup.

I think this is a big year for teams breaking up and girls quitting. I know my daughter decided to "retire" this year and just play school soccer and run cross country Sad

So what happened to Weatherford? Since they are missing from the LHGCL schedule, and playing in Arlington did they withdraw or get the boot?
