Ahh yes, the ever proverbial money grab from your local soccer entity...gotta love no return on your investment. With predicted coaching conflicts, our group will be limited to playing mostly Sunday games. Last season was a debacle in UAL, and I don't think many '06 teams will be doing SDL either. We'll probably join the masses headed to CFBAL, but need some assurances for a predominant Sunday league.

Travel - here's how this works for the Saturday/Sunday play. HOME team gets the preference. So let's say you have 9 teams in your division. 8 of those teams choose Sunday for their day of play - then you will have 8 games on Sundays. If 2 teams choose Saturday in your division, then you would have 6 Sunday and 2 Saturday games this season. IF neither team can agree on a Saturday or Sunday, then I simply move it to a week night. This idea of mine last season worked out great for everyone. I don't care if you're with the biggest club or you're a one man band - EVERYONE is treated equal in my league. I do work with coaches who have multiple teams, as a paying parent I WANT MY COACH THERE! The ONLY exceptions I make are the those teams who are really traveling in from a distance - like WACO and WICHITA FALLS. Thanks Bo for the kuddos - you don't go from 74 teams one season to 155 if your doing something wrong huh?

Nicole...you could put the other leagues out of business.. or at least make them irrelevant. UAL(more of a super rec league) is a joke as Travelin noted, very poorly run, won't return calls/emails, reschedules(maybe reschedules a lot times not) a game and doesn't let anyone know, won't reschedule games if a team drops out(we had to do it ourselves with the other teams). Our team is Allen based but we will make the drive...twice every weekend and it will be worth it. Thanks for your hard work!(and I used to think Bo was just sucking up)
