No. The only goals scored off free kicks were both Hypia goals.

Nice showing by Rush. There should be no complaining from Hyypia parents, since they escaped with a tie.

Rush was solid tonight. But escape? dont get carried away. Would have been nice to play the full 60 min instead of 50

Yes. They count. Just pointing out that it took calls from a ref you characterize as a "woman who should never be allowed to referee again" for Hypia to score a goal in the game.

dont commit "the foul". And one Rush goal came from a LP goal kick played short that was poorly played and given away. Does that one still count because it wasnt creative enough? Hyypia rarely gives away cheap goals like that. But guess what, on the score sheet it still a goal

If one of Rush players got a jump and cut off this "poorly played ball" then credit Rush for the awareness, and ultimately putting it in the back of net.

Thats great advice. Its not me thats trying to discredit goals bc they were from free kicks. Hyypia being bashed for yellow cards, yet they are scoring from free kicks. Who was doing the fouling?

Got it. So it's a foul when called on a Rush player but "the most ridiculous call you have ever seen" when called on a Hypia player. I guess both yellow cards were ridiculous. Just making sure I am keeping up. Intense game. Great players on both teams. Congrats to both on a spirited match.

Couldnt see the other yellow as well. That was in front of rush parents. Was it a warranted yellow? Both coaches unhappy with the ref. Entire sideline for Rush unhappy with ref. Guess its not just me who saw it

So, the ref who sucks, is the same ref who allowed the team to stay competitive by giving free kicks in a generous area. Maybe the call was so bad, they were trying to make up for it by giving these free kicks.
Or, the more likely scenario is, these are 9-10 year olds and you never know what is going to happen. Good game to both teams. Not sure why it can't be left at that instead of bashing a ref and the other team.
