Oh hey - I always answer emails, the phone calls when I can and you're getting 8 games. No championship games this season as field space will not allow not to mention the lack of time span.

I was just displaying my odd sense of humor. In all seriousness, the '05 age-group has put together a fantastic top league. You really should smile and enjoy it. Like I alluded, it's going to be a long time before your DD participates in a league this competitive again.

After looking at the registered teams in platinum, I don't really see too many 9-0 blowouts. The top teams are great teams, that's why they are the top teams. But, that doesn't mean the bottom 7 or so teams are bad teams does it? I think each game should be fun, competitive games with maybe a few blow outs. They are 9 and 10 year old little girls. Just enjoy it and know that your team is likely getting better by playing the top teams.

Just Kidding... Twisted Evil

I'm probably going to hold off posting a new '05 FBR until after the weekend of Feb. 7-8. By that point, if I go by weeks where '05 teams actually played games, my 16-week history will have wiped all games from Sept. (I really don't want to be calculating rankings in Jan/Feb using games from Sept. too much time passed). Also, by my count, after the U90 tournament on Feb. 7-8, somewhere around 85% of the top 50 teams from that last FBR posted in December, will have played in a tournament in Jan/Feb, so it will give me more total games, and a little more accurate indication of where teams stand going into the Spring league season.

Nearly 400 teams... More than 1,500 games with five or six field complexes. Not surprising the first time around may end up taking a bit longer than anticipated.

That said - hoping for soon so everyone can plan...

Bw in all fairness...UAL was horrible about broken promises no follow through.. Yes there are a ton of teams, but if you've played old UAL in last few years, then this brings back memories. Website still says 6 guaranteed and schedule date missed, Nicole gets benefit of the doubt for now in my book but signs make some wonder

Something all need to keep in perspective.

She is now running the biggest league in all NTX besides the classic leagues.

Has to schedule around all the requests, fields being used for all the various major spring tourneys. There will be hiccups. No doubt.... But a few hiccups or there is always SDL, Primetime, or ... Arlington Academy league. Haha

It amazes me at the # of snide comments made by ignorant people. It is my understanding the scheduler had to go to the various associations and ask for more space. "Twice". SO, after they asked, then you gotta wait for a reply to see who (If any) would respond and then which fields would they offer??. Wanna play in prosper?? Then you get all the coaches & managers who forgot to send in their conflicts pushing them in way past schedule release time............... get the picture???
