EDL 06/07 AP Preseason Seeding Tournament Spring (Feb 6 & 7)

With the transition to AP the Elite Development League at Soccer Spectrum will have a friendly "seeding" tournament Feb 6 & 7 in Richardson to assure the correct level of competition for all teams this Spring season.

Offering AP '06G & '07G divisions, the EDL seeding tournament is an extra opportunity for teams, players, and parents to see what the EDL is all about, and also for the players to get some extra touches before the Spring season starts. Tournament structure will be 3 games guaranteed in a friendly format with no advancement and teams do NOT have to play in the EDL this Spring in order to play in the tournament Feb 6 & 7.

AP '06G will play 9v9, 25 minutes halves on a 75x47 field with the proper goal size. Cost = $275.

AP '07G will play 7v7, 22 minutes halves on a 47x30 field with the proper goal size. Cost = $250.

All games will be played in Richardson at Soccer Spectrum.

In summary, the EDL strives to assure the level of competition is correct for all players and teams for maximum development. The EDL is sanctioned through US Club Soccer thus making this preseason seeding tournament an unrestricted tournament for any team interested in playing.
