Feet and Kicks?

I heard Kicks just merged with Feet. Didn't see that coming.

D'feeters Kicks , Kicks D'feeters that's a mouth full that not rolling of the tongue very well. Oh, I imagine it will over time.

Kicks needed the ECNL spots and Feet needed to stay relevant. Good merger for JM.

Then you weren't looking. Both sides have had multiple "merger" discussions. Finally found one they could agree on.

I heard Velocity FC is with Feet now as well. May be seeing Red and Green everywhere now.

Now the big question is........does Kicks cost as much as D'feeters now that they have merged?

Juan worked a deal for his players in their first year.

Does this open it up for Juans 01 team to step in a take the Feet ECNL spot? Surely that team would have had to get some good considerations to come over and make it worthwhile.

if im a dfeeters 00 or 01 age pure ecnl player or parent or a prospect thats been offered a spot on one of those two teams i would be very nervous right now.

But the current Kicks SC 01 team is better than either of those teams you just mentioned, so why would Feet bring in better skilled, better coached girls and not use them for one or both of those ECNL teams.

Guess you don't pay much attention to D'Feet on this forum.

Had to go back and find the little nugget of wisdom I posted over a year ago...

Like any "change", some will see this as an opportunity, and some will see this as an opportunity to complain.  Some will feel they benefitted, some will feel they got screwed, most won't feel much of a difference.  Some may think they are worse off now, but when you come back to them 6 or 12 months down they road, they may tell you that it didn't seem like it at the time, but it turned out to be the best thing that could've happened to them.  Some will take this opportunity to move in a completely different direction from either D'Feeters or Kicks.  At the end of the day, all you can do is make the best of your personal situation and move on with it.

I do know Juans team will be staying together coached by Juan and The current team will be coached by HB and HB's current team will remain the ECNL team. There are 30 roster spots on an ECNL squad, 18 can dress and generally at this age there are two or three injured, plenty of playing time to go around. Some may be upset but there are upset parents every year on every team.

That's funny!! don't care who you are!

I'm sure the details will get worked out...should be a great move for both programs. Long overdue. I guess now there is nowhere left to hide from Kicks SC huh!
