The tourney just doesn't seem to be bringing in the out of town teams like it used to.

Really is. I played in this tourney as a kid and it use to be a premier tourney. Seems to be watered down this year.

Between the 04 and 05 brackets in the Austin Labor Day there are 44 -- 05 teams.
9v9 (they play) keeps a lot of them away from DFW.

At what point do you ask yourself "what the f am I paying $3-5K per year for?" 
Could it be when you lose a tournament to a team that only pays for uniforms and league / tournament fees?
$700 per year and winning your bracket over teams paying 5-7x that. Priceless.

Guess I don't know enough to know if I'm paying too much. Who's paying $700/year and winning brackets? Texas South teams in Austin tourney? DTS? Please explain.

Bracket A in Silver A seemed to be the strongest Bracket by a fair amount. A solid JDL, 2 D1 teams that will have some sucess this year and a D3 which in my opinion is better than several D1 teams. Was not a fan of the knockout format, playing the same Bracket in the Semis.
